I had a doppelganger situation happen to me... for a few years, several friends said they saw me running around uptown and often with a golden retriever looking dog.. apparently, a few of them tried waving/shouting "Hey", but this person who looked identical to me never said anything back or even acknowledged them. At the time I lived east and rarely went uptown- even then, they would question on the day where they had supposedly seen me and I hadn't gone uptown in ages! Fast forward to present time.. until watching this video, I never realized.. I have recently moved uptown and have a golden retriever mix. Some times we go jogging uptown or I jog to get to a store. This stuff is extremely weird...

I met my brother's doppleganger the day I left the hospital with my newborn daughter. My husband and I had stopped at my in-laws house to pick up my son and dog on the way home from the hospital. The neighbors, who had heard the news of my daughter's birth, came out to say hello. They had moved in recently so we'd never met them before. The man looked JUST LIKE my brother. He even talked like my brother. Not only was his voice the same, his speech pattern was exactly the same. When I saw him, I kept wondering what my brother was doing there-- he lived across the country. It was so disorienting. But he didn't act like my brother and, after talking for a few minutes, I realized he couldn't be him. I had natural childbirth with my daughter so there's no chance I could have been recovering from any drugs. When we talked about it inside, even my husband agreed that he could be my brother's twin. Later on, we became good friends with this couple and often spent time together. As I got to know them, the feeling that he looked exactly like my brother never diminished. Eventually, I even told him about the resemblance and showed him pictures. I think there are a lot of natural dopplegangers among us. But some of your stories are more than just dopplegangers. Some sound like wrinkles in time.

I absolutely believe in doppelgangers / or whatever they are. Many of my friends and relatives have witnessed them, or have stories (myself included). Back in about 1990, I remember looking outside (late at night) and seeing my dad out there. My bedroom was on the second floor and he was standing on the back deck below. He was wearing the clothes he normally wears during the day. He looked straight up at me. I then immediately went downstairs. My dad was in the kitchen wearing his pyjamas. After I questioned him about being outside in his day clothes, he told me that he had just gotten out of bed. Almost 30 years later, this is still something that I have never forgotten.

i have never seen my doppelganger but i have been told through other people of this person who looks like me and even talks like me, they say he's a bit older but looks damn near just like me, i have never seen the guy, i would like to, so i could see for myself, but i honestly don't think these stories are real.

TheZetore technically everyone has a doppelgänger somewhere in the world. There's only a limited number of DNA strain combinations. So somewhere in the world u may have 1 or more people who look just like u or even coincidentally live the same life as u do just in a different location

I had many experiences of being mistaken for someone else. It was in Louisiana although I was born in Illinois and moved to Louisiana when I was in high school. Once, after my husband and I moved to an area north of Baton Rouge, strangers kept stopping me in the store, asking about my family. I thought I saw the woman who looked like me at the gas station. She was the attendant behind the glass, but she didn't look up as I paid, and she looked very much like I did a few years earlier. I didn't have the nerve to tell her that I thought she looked like me. Six or seven years later, I was taking my children to a new doctor's office in a large medical building. When I walked in, the receptionist in the lobby jumped out from around the desk, and came up to me and hugged me! She then began to tell me how much fun she had last weekend, and said that my husband and I would have to come over and barbeque again!. I explained that I didn't know know her. She was stunned and said that I looked exactly like a lady who was building a house in her subdivision. We moved to Virginia, and on a trip back to see my parents, I went to WalMart for some last minute Christmas shopping, and there was a man sitting near the door, and when he saw me, he began to scowl. I did not know him, so I told him so, and that I lived in Virginia. He said, "It's a good thing, because the person I thought you were fired me!"

I notice when my doppelgänger shows up in places the most is when I’m stressed out and it always goes where I’m thinking of going and doing what I’m about to do or thought of doing. It gets annoying trying to explain it’s not me. Maybe we astral project like we do in dreams. Like the Sam story. The real guy was asleep on the floor but his doppelgänger was jumping out the window, maybe he was in the middle of astral projecting when his doppelgänger was spotted. Maybe we unintentionally astral project before we get somewhere or think about doing something. Who knows it’s annoying but creepy.

When my kids were almost teens, we had gone to the store for groceries. The gal in line in front of us looked JUST like me. Both kids tried to whisper "Mom, do you see what I see?" Many decades ago, I was approached by a stranger who apparently thought he knew me. At first, I thought he was making a pass at me, until he started getting annoyed. I was puzzled and said that wasn't my name and stated I did not know him. This person was speechless, but kept calling be by a different name. I repeated I was not that person. Then he said that I have a twin who looks exactly like me. I stated I hope I never meet her because that would be too freaky for me! Honestly, I don't think he believed me. Few years ago,I went to meet a date. When I met her she looked shocked, she said I just seen you 1 minute ago you walked right by me staring at me smiling,I waved you over but you just walked past me and now you just appeared,Once my date was over I went to stay at my parents. My dad said grandma was glad to see you earlier and everyone at her home thought you were lovely, I couldn't believe it I said I was on a date and haven't seen her in a long time, they said. I have been harassed and almost arrested 5 or 6 times at a casino I frequent. I eventually called it police harassment and became quite irrate. I asked for a photo of this person they are referring to. Eventually to my amazement, there in front of me was a photograph of myself. It was unbelievable... I apologized to the police for my uproar because I understood now why the confusion I saw myself. The only difference was I never was involved in the taking of that photo and my hair was slightly shorter. It was weird. I just hope he does something good in the future because I dont want the credit for the bad.

My boyfriend and old boss have seen my doppelganger..it's terrifying. One night, my boyfriend went to the kitchen for something to eat and I went to the bathroom at the same time. When I was finished I walked back to our bedroom. When he came back he asked me "Why were you peering around the hallway at me all creepy?" I never did that.. A couple of months later, I was doing my closing duties at a restaurant I was working at. I went to go clean the bathrooms and was in there for at least 20 mins. When I came out to tell my boss I was done, he jumped and was looking around in a panic. "What? You just walked past me 2 minutes ago!" He said nervously. "No I didn't..I've been in the bathrooms cleaning for about 20 minutes!" He stared at me with the most frightened expression someone has ever gave me. "I swear you just did..the girl I saw had the same clothes, hair, even shoes as you do!" That was scary because I was the only female working at the time.. My doppelganger hasn't been seen since..I'm just glad I never saw her.

Happened to me in the office. I notice one of my office mate, sitting alone quietly in her cubicle. I tried calling her to have lunch with me but she stayed silent and somehow, didn't seem to notice me which is kinda odd, but I dismissed it. The next morning she's in the office I approached her, then told her about yesterday. She told me it was impossible since she was on sick leave that day. I was like omfg... rene.. there is an explanation of what you experienced. It may of been her astrally projected and u may of seen her and she may of looked real if you are a bit psychically sensitive. That would completely explain the silence when you were calling her etc as unless she's fairly advanced with OBES, many people when they astral project out, arent aware so will ignore u if you try to speak to them. Being unwell, can trigger things such as OBEs.

my sister said she was having dinner with some friends and as she was walking towards their table she saw " me" with some people and i was visibly pregnant ...she said she just stopped and stared she couldn't believe it...she tried to keep her eye on "me" and try to talk later but she looked back and couldn't find me..im not pregnant and not at a point where i can see myself starting a family ...so i wonder if maybe she caught a glimpse of me in the future??

I saw my sisters doppelganger when I was out one day in the city. She looked exactly like my sister, hair worn the same. clothes of style my sister wears etc, but when I spoke to her and she spoke back letting me know she wasnt who thought, her voice was very different sounding. One day my brother came over with my sister-in-law. That's when they told me that they seen somebody that looked exactly like me just a couple years older, like about 22 (I'm 16) in a restaurant. She was also apparently pregnant. My sister-in-law goes out to tell me "Dang Silveria when you get pregnant, you're going to look goooodd, she was stunning" I replied with "I guess you guys seen my future" 😂😂

I had an odd experience back in the mid 90's. That was during the time I used to to out every night with friends to hit the clubs. Growing up in L.A., there are plenty of clubs. Then I started to get people I knew asking me why I ignored them and strangers would sometimes ask me why I hadn't shown up to one thing or another. This went on for many, many months. I got so bad that I actually stopped going out for about two weeks. Then, I started to gets calls from some friends and acquaintances really worried that they had heard that I had passed away. I just assumed that it was because I hadn't gone out in such a long time. So, I decided to call my close friends so we could go out after getting about six of these calls. When we got to the club (Circus), a few people I knew actually screamed. They were shocked to see me because they had been at my funeral. I was so shocked at first. Then I thought it was all part of an elaborate joke. All I could ask them was, "well, was it a nice funeral?". Again, I thought it was all a joke and just pushed it out of my head...Until I just came across this video. I just did a search for someone passing away with my name back in the year when it happened but came across empty. And I lost contact with the people who said they went to my funeral. After seeing this video, it has only made me question everything about that whole incident. :-/

There's someone around town that apparently looks exactly like me and people have been seeing her for years and years but I've never seen her. My mom even saw her on a cruise she was on a few years ago. My stepdad who isn't easily scared saw her when my mom pointed her out and got the willies cause of how much we looked alike.

When I was little, I saw a "shadow" of my mom watching me without moving. Then I shouted "mom!" and my mother opened the door... The "shadow" disappeared. My mom was still in bed and was wondering why I shouted like that. I freaked out, but I was seeing "shadow people" frequently at the time... :/ Most of the time, when I was in bed, and they were watching me without moving or anything else. I had to get angry for them to disappear. I know it wasn't dreams because several times members of my family came to see why I was screaming.

The thing is that I used to feel them touch me.Once I was in the back row of my dads car when I was younger I felt something tap my shoulder.I looked behing and I saw a shadow person just staring at me. Another experience I had is when I was little I saw a black hand tapping on the window it was a shadow of course but I could hear it so did my older sister.But as soon as I got my dad it disappeared. I saw shadow people and animals all my childhood, and have been able to see spirits and discern human spirits all my adult life. (I am old now.) I live and have lived with my son and his family since before his boys were born, and when the oldest grandson, Joshua, was about 4 he kept waking up in the night and coming to me crying because "the big Joshuas" were standing around his bed and frightening him. He is 12 now, and when I asked him what he remembered he said that he could see shadow people around his bed, shorter than adults but taller than him. After we told them to leave him alone, he didn't see them any longer. He does still see spirits until this day, but we keep them from coming into the house. (We are Christians.)

I also see shadow people and have experienced paranormal activity from 2 yrs of age. I have been lead to believe that these shadow figures are also the same things as light anomalies, only seen in different light spectrums or camera lenses. If u wish to see examples of this, I have uploaded some of the different types of light anomalies which I can also feel touching me on times too and they have even confirmed in one of my uploads that they are one and the same. Some are pranksters but others can be negative and can sometimes cross boundaries when we don't even know it's going to happen. I have to cleanse and smudge my home regularly but I believe that these beings will always return as long as they are feeding off yr fear or enjoying the interaction with a living person who isn't afraid of them but entertains them anyway. I have found that the more u ignore them the less they bother u, but sometimes if u have a darker attachment, ignoring them sometimes just isn't enough. All I can say is, try not to show fear, and if u do decide to open up to these entities always be careful to take extra precautions or do some historical investigation of the property where this activity occurs first, because some are attached to property/personal belongings or some are attached to a certain person/people, whether it be yrself or a family member/friend. When these friends and family visit u, they will also bring whatever entities that are attached to them. Due to this I have come into contact with many people with many different demons. These negative/joker type energies come in the form of many thing's, ie; alcohol, drugs, depression, gambling, adultery and many, many other sins of the flesh that are mentioned in the Bible. I have also seen the affect that the word of God has on these entities and it is beyond powerful and will always overcome the word of the devil. In July of 2017 I was visiting my sister in Duncan, Oklahoma. At a convenience store a man came up and said we'd graduated together in 1976 from a local high school. I told him I graduated in the year 1971 from a high school in Stamford, Connecticut. It wasn't all that easy to convince him of that, either.

A long time ago (when I was about 8) I was at a resort with my father, older sisters and younger brother. There was a pool there and we decided to go swimming. After spending about half an hour there, I had just pushed my brother into the pool and I looked across the pool for some reason (it was quite busy that day). I saw a girl that looked exactly like how I do now, somehow I knew that girl was me without ever seeing her before. She was talking to someone who looked a bit like my uncle, the guy walked away and she looked to the ground. I can't remember exactly what her expression was but it was something like a mix between fear and confusion. She looked up at me and looked petrified, she looked around frantically then ran behind some people and disappeared. I shook my head furiously as if to shake the memory of the girl out of my head and jumped into the pool. On the last day of my time at that place my sisters' ipods when missing along with mine. We searched everywhere and could not find them, I don't think that has anything to do with the girl but who knows?

My best friend has seen my doppelganger. She went to the local carnival one year and at school the next day she told me she saw me at the carnival and asked why I didn't say hi to her or wave back. I told her I hadn't been to the carnival. She swore up and down that it was me. She said we had the same haircut and color, same face, same clothing style, and same build. I was totally weirded out by it and the conversation got quiet and we never brought that back up again. I also get stopped in the store by people and asked how I'm doing and it's nice seeing me. When I was about 12 my mom dropped my friend & I off at the local skate rink. She & my friends sister went across the street to the mall to do some shopping while we were skating for a couple hours. My mom was shopping and turned around because she said she felt eyes staring at her. When she turned around she said *I* was standing behind her & she yelled at *me* because I crossed the busy road to the mall. *I* was wearing the exact same clothes from when she dropped me off & it wasn't until she looked down at *my* hand that she was startled because on *my* hand was a ring that I had given her so I didn't lose it while skating. She looked in her purse & the ring was still safely there but when she looked up *I* had disappeared. She left the mall & came to the rink to find me skating. When she told me the story of what happened she reached into her purse to give me back my ring & it was gone. We never found it & until the day she died she always felt horrible for losing it.

One of my many occurrences involved a red-faced angry New Jersey cop screaming at me for walking near a construction site after he'd supposedly just told me to avoid the area. Middle to late 1980s. I hadn't been by there ever before, but I was so taken aback by his inexplicable outburst that I simply blurted out, "I'm sorry!" There is some old concrete constructed apartment buildings in the city where I live. These concrete buildings are over 100 years old. Some of these concrete buildings have been restored to there glory days and look brand new again. Others are deteriorating in decay. A guy I know has formed a historical society to fix them with donated money as the buildings do have historical value to them. However the guy that bought some of these old concrete buildings his family told me they encountered his doppelganger. His mother told me one day her son left to go to the hardware store to get supplies for remodeling. When he got back home his whole family asked him what he was doing walking around the back of the apartment buildings. He responded that he didn't know what they were talking about and that he wasn't walking around the back of the building. He said that he was at the hardware store getting supplies and he did come back with materials he needed. But his family including his mother swore they saw him walking around the back of the building. I myself will not live in those 100 year old concrete buildings. I swear some of them are haunted. Some people in that area have seen an old woman walking around upstairs in an apartment that no one has lived in for years.

There is a girl here who looks exactly like me. I have yet to see her and apparently she is a trouble maker. I have been "seen" in cities I had never been to. I've been followed around stores. I even had one guy approach me like he wanted to punch me out and glared at me like he hated me. No idea who he was. I have had people come to me ask weird questions ,there was a man ask me How was New York ? I told this man never been to New York in my life. The look on his face was shocked he said I look exactly the same as his friend that he grow up with , I told him you not the only person has ever come to me ask or say things to mr and thought I knew them. About couple of months ago my mother called me and told me she saw a women that looks just like me , she said that she was going to stop "me" ask why I was in Pennsylvania but realized she wasn't me she had blonde and blue eyes. My life is identical to story number 5 exactly to this day. I have had this happen throughout my life and it’s a pain in the butt still happens to this day. Especially when I’m accused of being somewhere doing something I’m not and I’m with a certain person at that time. I have an older daughter who is identical to me but these times are different. It was awful when I was living with a now ex friend and we would have our occasional fights and later a friend of theirs would call them saying they saw me at a store or wherever and then having to go through explaining that I was with the friend when I was supposedly spotted somewhere. The worst and craziest was when my oldest daughter and I were at a homeless shelter and my friend and I were upstairs in the bed area talking and when we went downstairs for dinner one of the staff members was giving out silverware and dishes and flat out refused to give me my dishes because I had just gotten mine. I told the staff member to look on the video above my bunk and they will see I was there when I was supposedly just asking for our dishes. The staff member finally gave me our dishes once she reviewed the footage of my bunk and saw me on my bunk and my kid and friend vouched for me. That was one of the odder doppelgänger sightings of me. It’s actually a toss up between my identical daughter and doppelgänger sightings.

I'm my mum's doubleganger! And for fun whenever we take road trips we go to places my mum at my age took a picture and we take the exact picture with the same clothes! 😂 Even my principal of my High School told me to bring my mum not my twin for the report cards! And two years ago I was a senior in High School and I was new in the town but the town is my mum's hometown as the teacher called out name he said "Maria Antoniadou?" The teacher told me that i was way more disciplined and smarter than my mum. He said that i was the complete opposite of my mum. When I told my mum about it she said that it was true we are completely different in behaviour. I'm a geek that doesn't even drinks alcohol or smokes and she was a trouble maker that smoked and went out partying every weekend and Fridays!

My 'twin' came to me a night or so after I'd lost my sixteen year old cat (who was my best friend). I was devastated in general, and that particular night was bad for me. I was crying in bed, when suddenly, my 'twin' sat down on the side of my bed (I live alone). I have had similar experiences throughout​ my teens and early twenties. well, not personally, but from about the age of seventeen to twenty three, I've had several different people tell me that they were sure that they saw me somewhere and tried to get my attention, but I apparently just ignored them. the first time, I was in high school and it was a close friend of mine. she said she waved to me, but I just turned the other way. she seemed like she was freaked out by it, because she said she was so sure it was me, and she could clearly see my face. she even said my clothes were the same. then, a couple of years later, my grandmother said the same thing. she said she had seen me in Maine, and her eyes were wide and lit up in the same way that my friend's eyes were in high school, like a combination of shock and disbelief. she said, "I said hi, but you just turned away from me. I was so sure that it was you, I almost reached out and touched you, but I pulled back at the last second because I realized there was no reason for you to be in Maine" (I live in Massachusetts). my aunt also told me a similar story at a different time. they all told me that I looked right at them, but then just turned away. each time I've been told this, the person telling me had an expression and tone of voice like they had just seen a ghost. and after hearing it a few times, I started to get a little freaked out. what's interesting to me is that, I have a bit of a unique look, not exactly what you would call generic, I guess. everything from my hair, to my style of dress, to my facial features tend to stand out in a crowd (in a good way lol). I've always stood out in a crowd, and I've never met anyone I would consider looking even a little similar to me, honestly. I was even voted most unique in high school lol. so, it's really strange to me that people who know me so well would ever confuse me with someone else. also, this was a very difficult period for me, a sort of an existential crisis. my father passed away when I was seventeen, after I had lost my mother a decade prior. I was dealing with some deep depression and anxiety during those few years. Idk if that had anything to do with it. but I know that, right when that difficult period started at seventeen was when I started having people tell me these stories, and they continued for a few years until I started to come out of that difficult period. it could all just be mistaken identity of course, but it's just so strange that I was told this that many times, in the exact same way, by people who don't even know each other.

My mother said she's seen someone that look exactly like me but she knew it wasn't because this guy had a cowboy hat on and was driving a different type of vehicle when he got out of the vehicle next to her, she just looked at him and smiled. When I was a Youngster around eight or nine years old. There was a woman that lived in our town in California that look just like my mother! She looked very close to the same age as my mother. I even walked up to her one time in a convenience store grabbed her arm and said "Mom" deep inside me I knew something was wrong. I saw my dad's doppelganger three months before his death. I woke up to use the bathroom at 2 or 3 a.m. For some reason I looked into the kitchen. My dad was standing at the stove, but he looked like he was younger. His hair was black again & he was in better physical shape. All I could do was to stand frozen & stare at him. He dissapeared within minutes. The spell was broken & I could move again. I went into the bathroom & thought about what I saw. I kept saying, "It couldn't have been him." My dad had severe health problems & was staying in a resthome for the past two years. I moved into his old bedroom when I moved in with my mother. When I exited the bathroom, I looked again to see if the doppelganger came back. No one was in the kitchen. I called & texted my oldest son. I wrote, "Zach I think that grandpa died. I just saw his ghost in the kitchen." My son read the message & called me the next morning. He asked about my text & I told him everything that happened. Zach told me that I must have been dreaming. I insisted that I was awake at the time. He said, "You must have had a vivid dream. I've had them." I know I wasn't dreaming.

I was playing with my grand children a few days ago. The older one is nearly 2, the baby is 3 months. One day something happened -I saw both of them standing in their parents doorway, as TEENAGERS! They both were smiling broadly. The baby was shorter and chubby, looked about 17. The older child slim and thin, looked a couple of years older, maybe 18. When I had a traveling retail business, there were two other women who were my dopplegangers and they sold similar product too. I met one of them, and we literally sold all the same stuff. I saw myself or she appeared very much like me i'm not very tall under 5 foot mousey hair, blue eyes and frecals this was back in 97 when I was a size 10/12 with thick hair I remember the day so clearly I was walking through town and it was like I was walking towards a mirror she was right in front of me identical she could have been my twin it was creepy I wasn't bought up in the town I was in only been here about 6 months she looked at me I looked at her then we both must of felt creeped out because we didn't speak we just hurried past each other when she past me I looked behind me and she was looking back at me I hurried along and when I looked back she was gone. I've now lived in the town years and have now two children and i'm no longer a size 10/12 but a 16 my hair is thinning and my eyes are now grey yet total strangers say they know me even my estate agent said she saw me at the bus stop I said no but when I saw her again she insisted she had seen me at the same bus stop but I wasn't at the bus stop - Freaky.

Another time I stopped on the New Jersey Turnpike at a rest area for a meal. Middle to late 1980s.The place was all but empty. A younger guy and woman were sitting at a tiny table directly along my path. He looked over with a broad smile on his face. As I approached he held out his hand. Not wanting to be impolite, I shook his hand and said, "I can't remember where I know you from." He then said, "County Jail." For a moment I considered asking him whether I was a guard or an inmate. But I avoided the issue with a flippant remark as I continued smiling and walking on toward my awaiting hamburger. I found a table as far away from them as possible and couldn't even look in their direction after that.

Round about 2005 a man who knew me very well claimed he'd seen me at a place I hadn't visited in several years in upstate Connecticut. He failed to engage the double, unfortunately, so the mystery man's identity remains just that.
