I'm not necessarily new to skating but it's been many years since I touched ice skates. My wife wanted to learn to skate, so we are taking up skating lessons together. I can skate forward kinda good, but I can't stop or skate backwards (never could), but with the lessons we will get good together. I came across your page looking for some tips before our lessons start at the beginning of the year, and I love the videos I've watched already. I've become an instant fan of your page 👍

How do you get your toe to dig in? Mine slips everytime, could it be the blade isn't sharpened all the way to the holder or can this still be done on blunt blades? Any tips would be appreciated Thanks,

Sharpness could be a point but its also not easy to keep the tension in your legs to hold your self on point. The blades wont do that for you. Its easier with sharp blades but its still something you really have to force and to practice

Hey alpi, kurze Frage kann man die tblade Schlittschuhe von Bauer einfach im Ofen backen oder muss man da vorher was abnehmen? Wäre vllt auch ne Video Idee :D

Prinzipiell schwierig, da es dazu keine verlässlichen Angaben gibt. Prinzipiell würde ich das nie im Backofen machen, sondern gegen ein kleines Trinkgeld von einem Sportgeschäft machen lassen. Grundsätzlich gilt: Je günstiger das Modell, desto vorsichtiger sollte man mit der Temperatur sein😅

@@AlpineIceFreestyle die bauer x250 tblades :D .. müsste man die blades und halterung dann abnehmen oder eher lieber lassen und dann mit denen so fahren? :D und danke für deine antwort

Ich würde es nie im Backofen machen, sondern mit einem Gebläse aus einem Sportgeschäft von innen erhitzen
