10 Types of Minecraft Clients

Minecraft clients, specifically Minecraft clients for pvp, have been gaining in popularity over the past couple years, and fast. So, I decided to test 10 of them out today in the best game to test a client out: Hypixel Skywars. Which one was your favorite?
DISCLAIMER: This is not a review on what the best Minecraft client is for pvp. I personally think that as long as it works for you and doesn't break your Minecraft, the Hypixel rules, or your PC, then there's no reason to say that one client is the "best". This video is mostly for content and to just check out what's out there.

a lot of Minecraft clients have LOTS of mods on them, and I didn't enable them all. So just because one client has a specific module doesn't mean it's the only one (for example, badlion and lunar I think also have a left-hand mod just like LabyMod). So yeah

Hypixel probably banned perspective because you could use it to X-ray in skyblock, not because of anything else

@@goobles64 many recent videos using it in pvp have used it as an advantage you can't get in vanilla. Ofc you can look around in vanilla too but that slows you down since you are not sprinting in the desired direction anymore, unlike perspective mod. It is a slight advantage but like if hypixel allows numerous slight advantages like that, suddenly it's more than a slight advantage players are getting.

I use Lunar over Forge because it gives me almost double the fps. I went from 180 to 325-350. I do have an fps cap tho to match my screen's refresh rate, so it doesn't really matter for me personally. It just looks clean

when you do an FPS test, when you switch between using the f3 menu and a mods built in fps counter its inaccurate, as the f3 menu cuts ur fps by almost 1/3 and the FPS modules in other clients like labymod, 5zig, lunar all hardly change your fps

Depends on the PC. The f3 menu never had much of an effect on my fps at all in my experience through several computers. If it did, it was too small to be noticed

Lunar is like a sweet spot for simplistic but also cosmetic-wanting persons for their mc client. There’s not too much mods but it’s not to the point where it’s boring and lackluster. Plus, it has less pedophiles than Badlion

Optifine is actually a mod not a client and it uses forge as a modloader. If you were to include forge (which is not exactly a client) you should as well include fabric, the only other modloader that is newer and better performant. Also, every other client is just forge or fabric with some custom mods, the only thing that changes is the launcher and the mods that are in the "client" but i get the conept. You should review the best clients and modpacks instead of optifine and forge tough... Maybe talking about them and the mods that they contain a bit more too. Btw great video, keep it up!

One thing to say is that lunar is the most stable because for example badlion has 550 fps standing still but dropped to 200 when you moved but lunar stayed around 450+ even when you were moving

Labymod is the best to be honest. You can install addons inside it. You can litterely add EVERYTHING from every other client. That means that the features of Lunar, Badlion, Pixel, et cetera. You don't have to decide with it.

@@goobles64 The laptops w/ a 3080 have a bigger screen and he probably does have a big table a pc and other stuff? You can connect monitors and keyboards to your laptop too. I usually play on a laptop and it's pretty great tbh as i can move freely

There is a setting in vanilla minecraft which is you set to 0 does literally the same thing as dynamic FOV

almost nobody uses lunar in skyblock, people use mainly forge and badlion. and that's like 1/2 the hypixel playerbase. and alot of people use other clients besides lunar

I usually play with just optifine, or fabric with sodium a hud mod that shows armor key strokes and maybe apple skin etc i dont realy use those big custom clients.

Best minecraft configuration imo (not for pvp, for general latest version gameplay): -MultiMC 5 for the launcher -Fabric for the loader -Iris for optifine shaders support and graphics optimisations (It comes bundled with Sodium) -Lithium and Phosphor for general optimisation ( also hydrogen if you don't mind unstability) -OkZoomer for zoom (Much better than the optifine zoom, you can change the zoom rate with you scroll wheel) -CraftPresence for discord rpc Optional quality of life mods (can be bannable on some servers, make sure to check your servers rules): -Minihud for an fps, tps, block name overlay -Litematica for a better Schematica alternative (doesn't have printer so it's allowed on most servers) -Item scroller for better way to move items in and out of containers -Tweakaroo for general tweaks like turning the fog on and off (includes freecam so you can probably get banned for it) Everything in this list is free and open source (unlike optifine, badlion, lunar, etc.), so you don't have to worry about your account getting stolen or your info getting leaked :)

if you’re still alive switch to prism launcher its basically multimc with a mod downloader and importing your old versions from multimc is literally drag and drop
