Ryan Holidays book, “the obstacle is the way” got me through one of the hardest moments in my life. I would listen to it over and over on Audible for days. I recommend it. Hearing the quotes from stoic philosophers makes me feel strong and limitless. And it got me to realize that the secret to making a million is making better investment.

I started out with a financial advisor called *" Rochelle Dungca Schreiber ".* Her honest approach gives me complete ownership and control of my positions, and her rates are incredibly affordable given my ROI. However, do your due diligence before contacting a financial advisor.

May i suggest reading the Bible one book at a time. Its 66 books so it would keep you busy for awhile. It has some amazing stories, and good insights on life in general. Even if you do not believe in God, everyone on this planet is affected by this collection of books. Most people have a great misconception of what these books say. If it has an affect on everyone on this planet, why not know what it says for yourself?

@D L I've been studying the Bible for a few decades now. My goal when I started was to prove it wrong and point out all of the contradictions. I'm now a Christian because the Bible has to much proof for me to deny it. I've been through all of the supposed contradictions and still haven't found any. I pray you will search out the people that can show you those contradictions are false. God bless you.

I’ve been studying the Bible somewhat for a few years and listening to Christian pastors on utube at night. I’m far from perfect, but I do know that God’s Word is for our benefit. Not to make our life difficult or worse or restrictive. And I’m positive if we merely “ Loved thy neighbor as yourself “, everything in this country would be far better.
@bluedog5623 жыл бұрын
@D L I don’t think you have really studied the Bible. It is amazingly cohesive considering it was written over a long period by many human authors. It would take a spirit of God to bring everything together.

Something I learned about planning your day is to do it (as well as possible) the night before. That way you wake up and already know at least a couple things you need to do straight away. It helped me to wake up and start going.

Actualy one thing about reading that I do. Not always, but when I am home - I read out loud. As english is not my native language, it helps me to pronounce words and hear them as I speak. Thats one thing to people that are learning new language or are reading in diferent language to become beter at speaking.
@cherylwade264 Жыл бұрын
This suggestion is not a joke. There are read along books that help with word recognition. Tongue twisters that help with Pronouncing words . There are audio dictionaries that help with the definition of words you don't understand.

If you have a computer the accessibility features might help you. You can use the voice activated features for taking notes and sending messages or e-mails. If you have a mobility problem see about getting a sitter or personal assistant. There are ways around problems with the use of technology.

Sometimes planning is overrated. I find that I am more likely to get more done if I just keep moving. If I try to plan things I get to "in my head" about all of it. Just my two cents.
