Streets of Rage under radar?? I got this game when it first came out. It was everywhere; comic books, all video game mags, Babbages/Electronic Boutique and Sega game inserts. It was a huge game! It never went under the radar.

Good list I too, would get a Genesis with Sonic 1 packed in Christmas ‘92, as well as Sonic 2 as part of my gift from Santa. Still have them, still my favourite console. I will recommend a few games here. Cyborg Justice. Mostly for this gimmick, the customization. During gameplay you can actually rip arms off and equip them, so you’re not stuck with your original selection. But you can even rip off torsos and replenish your health bar. Toejam & Earl. For the 90s beats and humour Sub-Terrania. Awesome game! Eerie settings, great controls and physics. Greendog. It’s nothing really special, but again the humour sells this game for me Weaponlord. This is a Super Nintendo game too, but I feel this game was very inventive in how moves are executed. Slightly off from other fighting games, but once you get it, it’s good. That and the brutal finishers may be more gory than mortal Kombat or Eternal Champions

I wouldn't budge on Sega, until Sonic got me to go for it. And then other games like Shining force, considering I'm into the RPG scene. I named my dog Mishaela after an evil sorcereress. My thunder girl

I liked your list, but would change Greatest Heavyweight for the Evander's game because it's slower pace is less arcadish, delete Combat Cars because it's a sht game and Streets of Rage because it's far from underrated. Gain Ground, Dick Trace, Beavis and Butthead and Chaos General are games that I loved to play back in the day and media and other players also gave amazing feedback, but really were forgotten with time. Don't know about Master of Monsters because it didn't aged that fine. Cheers!

Evander was great too though the additional heavyweight champs made me like the sequel better. I do remember it being slower than Greatest Heavyweights.

At almost every single youtuber that talks about the Genesis, there are always people bringing up the Snes in the comment section, which goes to show you how much of a crushing defeat the Snes had on the Genesis towards the end😂

@@RockingwithNostalgia My suggestion is when creating new characters is to try to max out Strength, Constitution, and Dexterity. Try for 18s in those particular stats. The other stats aren't really important. Go with a well-rounded party, fighter, cleric, rogue, wizard... although, you might want to consider swapping the rogue for a Dwarf or an Elf. The beginning of the game is the toughest part because the characters are fragile. However, the game is fairly generous where you can save and the temple will resurrect your slain characters for free. When you get a couple of levels under your belt, the game really starts becoming a lot of fun. Good luck.

Columns is just great! You start a game, it get's faster. In the end it's just reaction, not strategy anymore. And when there's the game over screen you look at the clock and boom!
