I'd go for Amouage Lyric Man & Black Iris, Guerlain Encens Mythique, Musc Noble & Santal Royal & lastly Montale Honey Aoud.

Ganymede is my signature scent at the moment. I just like unique fragrances but everyone seems to like this fragrance from the encounters I’ve had. Whenever I’m out at social events, women don’t say they like it verbally, they show it by how close they get in my personal space and I’ve picked up on this trend several times now. I’ve walked past groups of women at outdoor patios and they’ve scanned around trying to decipher the scent trail in the air and they know it’s me. 😉 I honestly wouldn’t care if they didn’t like it because it’s a beautiful fragrance to me. The friends who’ve caught the scent trail 20 feet away say the spices (immortelle, saffron, akigalawood) push off a lot on my skin. Sweet citrus, florals, spice, suede, soapiness, a little musky. Quentin Bisch merci beaucoup. 👏

@The Anomaly this is exactly the reaction I have been getting with it myself 😂 I honestly prefer females chasing the scent trail around like bloodhounds as opposed to actually saying “you smell nice!” Just priceless!
@gazzap66642 жыл бұрын
Sounds like it could disrupt my domestic harmony if women start invading my personal space. 😁It does interest me with the immortelle note, this note is in Amouage Sunshine Man and I own and love that fragrance, it's one of the few fragrances I have where less really is more, fantatstic fragrance.
@antoinestewart99562 жыл бұрын
I own most of the fragrances mentioned and they are all amazing to my nose. I am happy to see Gris Charnel getting some shine. I own both versions and they are both incredible! A few others that I will add to your list are Arabian Oud Leather Musk, Rosendo Mateu No 2, and Fragrance Du Bois Oud Bleu Intense

Good video, plenty I have not tried. It's nice to see yourself and Grace in a video to get a ladies perspective. Anyway, completely agree on Scandal, I have a bottle and it's just different enough from the classic barbershop fougere to make it special. I have a decant of Boundless and as it dries down I really pick up the vanilla, it kind of dominates for me in the air, I certainly like it but need some time with it and the weather is just too hot at the moment so i will find out more in the Autumn. I have heard a lot about Ganymede so I must get a sample of that, it sounds very interesting. So, another good video, enjoy your day. 😁
@stayfreshproductions2 жыл бұрын
Thank you Gazza. Boundless definitely does better in the Autumn, it may not be quite as sweet when it’s cooler. I hope you can try Ganymede as well. All the best.

Hi Justin and everybody else here! 👋😃 Can someone tell me if Hermes's 'Ambre Narguile' is having production issues or being discontinued? I can't find it anywhere and even though Angel's Share and Oajan are recommended as dupes, I'd rather track down the OG, it's heavenly.

felt this way about Dior Elixir. I personally don't like sweet fragrances, I only wear fresh and masculine. However I sampled Elixir and I gotta say I did not expect to like it so much. It's the dry down. It's perfectly balanced between sweet cinnamon and cardamom, with this freshness and spiciness. And it's very masculine. Dior nailed it with Elixir and it's the first sweet fragrance in my collection. Definitely not an office fragrance, but highly recommended for nights out, dates, or events.

There's definitely cumin in Boundless that just pops when I try it on. It's not listed as a note, but the perfumer is known for cumin in their fragrances. After an hour or two it settles down, but I can't wrap my nose around it. Do you smell the cumin in this? There's cumin in African Leather, but it's way toned down and blended well with everything else.

Ganymede is a really polarizing scent. You love it or hate it which makes it niche coz its not mass appealing. I love that this is a great conversation starter as what peopld smell off of the wearer may differ from one person to the next. But yes, to my nose its like the inside of a luxury vehicle. Classy and sophisticated right there :) As far as loving the scent even when friends dont, atleast you got Grace. Still, youre the type whod wear something even if nobody else likes it. Still, take it from me, the mrs should like what youre wearing. Haha
@ciganyweaverandherperiwink62932 жыл бұрын
I'm currently searching for a gorgeous leather which will rival Ganymede, B-683, Emerald Musk, Temperantia and Cuir Fetiche. Many are soaked in roses and sugar syrup and I'm wanting something incredibly expensive smelling with a touch of sweetness without heading into the aforementioned realm of cloyingly sweet leathers. The note that signals danger in the 'cool leather' realm (where I'd put our star performer Ganymede) is saffron. It goes horribly metallic on me and can overpower a composition. Thanks for inadvertently reminding me to give Ganymede another try. So many of my great loves did not make great first impressions but on the second time around, blew me away.

I'm not that familiar with most but they are worth checking especially Gris Charnel, Gynamede, Boundless and Signature Rose. I smelled Viking cologne and it is nice but on paper didn't move me that much. As for Scandal, WOW, I did a smelling spree for Roja scents a while ago and for sure Scandal stood out to me, even on paper it smells amazing. Another perfume that really amazed me on paper and skin is Halfeti Leather from Penhaligon's.
@ciganyweaverandherperiwink62932 жыл бұрын
Gris Charnel is deserving of all the hype. I agree with your assessment of the fantastic creamy sweetness of the fig note in it; most fig-forward fragrances are off-puttingly green and bordering on bitter to me. I'm searching for a sweet, almost gourmand fig fragrance. For now, I'm happy with Gris Charnel and Oscent Rouge. I'm still highly recommending All The Queen's Men by Fort & Manle, Sir Galahad by Isabey and Memories by The Gate. Irresistible on a man.
@ATLieNOLE2 жыл бұрын
Love Gris Charnel but the EXTRAIT is even better IMO. Much more woodier, nuttier and smokier/spicier which is why I find it to be a little more masculine and most of all the Fig is the main player and I'm a sucker for Fig so this one is in my top 5 easily. Both are great but the EXTRAIT is absolute 🔥🔥! Great list J C-izzle & Grace, although some of these aren't unexpectedly sexy IMO. I believe some of these are sexy from opening to dry down from the jump but as always it's all subjective. Also one other one is Ganymede and this frag is so well done and like nothing else out there so that's another one that wasn't a surprise or unexpected as far as how sexy it is. MAB absolutely nailed that one, absolutely love it! Lastly, when Amouage put out Boundless I wasn't a fan but they also brought out Material at the same time as you know and that one was geared more towards women but to me I think it smells great on a man to so I like that one much more than Boundless mainly due to that tobacco overkill as you two implied so again Material to me is worth the buy, absolute fantastic scent. Good looking out as always you two! Keep up the great work!! 💯👊🏼 #FreshSquadHolla

How can it be ? Even I - have to raise my hand in acknowledgement. That there are soo many(maybe too many) perfume variants out there. How can people still be i g n o r a n t as to even designer fragrances. Then to step it up - to THE REAL fragrances - N I C H E . Fragrances to some people are like a dark splodge on a white piece of paper. Foreign to them. Ignorant as to WHAT it is. Even what to/how to '' handle/use it ''.
