7:35 I just love the idea that whenever one of the doors to the Batcave opens, Alfred is just there with a shotgun like something out of a Looney Tunes Cartoon

You guys forgot about all the times the League of Assassins broke into the Batcave. Hell Talia broke in tampered with Bruce's punching bag, slipped a knockout gas grenade in it, so when Bruce hit it it knocked him out and Talia kidnapped Bruce and did things to him.

By "did things" I'm guessing you meant the actions that ended up with Damien Wayne's birth?

Always wondered how nobody suspected Batman was Bruce Wayne if Bruce commissioned several Bat Caves to be built and then had various large pieces of equipment moved in and installed. Heck imagine being the mover contracted to move the giant dinosaur and penny from a cave below Wayne manor to a subway station below Wayne Tower being “refurbished”.

Iirc in a novel of nightfall, he mentioned how he had various foreign contractors who didn't speak English construct piece by piece
@robertnelson959910 ай бұрын
So he built it piece by piece by people who had no idea who Batman was. No wonder everyone claims this guy is a genius.

That’s kind of how Ra’s Al Ghul connected the dots .

And what of the rest of Gotham after that earthquake did Bruce Wayne help rebuild the homeless and rebuild their homes with good building construction and structural strength to withstand any further quakes for decades to follow baring a demon invasion or Doomsday or Joker blowing up Gotham with help from someone from another reality? Though Bruce is wealthy I imagine he sometimes gets help from other sources like other rich people his either helped or even gained resources from out of the world off planet? It amazies me how he hides his resources for his other life as Batman and his wealth is massive but I think something will change, and he will have to change tactics as rich as he is the world of heroes can't keep his double life hidden, but this hasn't happened (?) Reality and security are always broken. SMILE?

I didn't start reading Batman comics until 1991. I didn't know all about the early stuff until recently. Batman went through a lot of changes between the golden age, the silver age and now.

Batman also has tons of smaller caches of equipment hidden throughout Gotham

Also the cave is protected by magic from zatana to keep anyone telaporting in. And if I remember correctly it's lined with lead to keep people with x ray vision seeing in.

I know bruce wayne can easily afford it but how does he get all that high end equipment under wayne manor. You can't have bruce and alfred just moving everything on their own. They may be tough but still need help. Im just wondering how to you get workers to put all that shit in the bat cave and not tell anyone? Thats always bothered me.

I always wondered who actually built the Batcave. Maybe Lucius Fox helped Bruce? He must have had professional architects and a construction company do all that work -- did they have to sign NDAs?

It always makes me think “but how did Bruce construct the Batcave with all its high tech & thousands of pounds of material?” “How did no one see batman take a giant penny or dinosaur to the outskirts of Gotham under the Wayne estate?”

Just one note.. Dark Metal series. There was a cave next to the Batcave.
@Jamesalec6310 ай бұрын
You could give a history of Wayne Manor alongside the cave the ancestry of Bruce Wayne and his grandparents aswell as the history of the origins of Gotham. A special note is when Batman was suppose to have died but was stuck in the early west in a town called Gotham, and Bruce Wayne met his forebears his great grandparents and found out they weren't so honest? Really like the bat cave but you mentioned the original Batman never used a cave till later I thought it was the Batman And Robin series of the 60s that was the inspiration for later stories not the earlier one and I called a story Batman was inspired by Superman's fortress of solitude as well that was even earlier in the 40s in the JSA , and the fact the bat cave was so huge makes me think does it have a few darker stories a supernatural side a America native origins? Given the surrounding stories from the multiverse its possible its got a nexus in the cave?

Man, those old drawings showing the Batmobile's exit ramp at like a *FORTY-FIVE DEGREE* angle are hilarious. That's not how cars work. The amount of engine torque you need to push a car up even a _twenty_ degree angle is shockingly high. Much more than that, not only do you need the power plant from a muscle car, but it'd better have all-wheel drive with super high-friction tires if you hope to do anything more than just spin the wheels as you slide backwards to the bottom of the ramp. Gravity's a bitch.
