Very cool! I've only recently gotten a big shot machine and slowly amassing 2nd hand dies and folders. Never thought of trying ribbon and will definitely try. I've been misting my paper/materials with water (water + few drops of essence oils) before embossing. I find it relaxes the paper/material that tiny bit and (once dry) they hold the new texture/shape better. I've had lovely results with embossing that thin amazon filler paper too! Next things I want to try is leather scraps and fabric. And too try thicker cardboard mailer envelopes, but wet down beforehand. Thank you 🥰

These all turned out great! I can picture that ribbon in a Christmas journal, so pretty. I wonder if you can emboss a puzzle piece? Or leather? Or newspaper? Would it be too thin?
