I'm developing one too, like a mix of Harvest Moon and Earthbound, but it's not good enough yet, I plan to work on it throughout 2025 until it's perfect for me. Well, I'll give you a key as a gift when it's ready, in case you want to try it in 1 or 2 years!

It's been 7 years and not even a gameplay trailer for Witchbrook, I am losing faith that it's being worked on anymore and it's also kinda embarrassing how they talked about the Oracle Newsletter and didn't even release a single one 😂

Isn’t the game developed by one person and only a few contractors? Stardew valley took more than 10 years for it to get to where it needed to to shine and it was created by only one person too. Game development is a super complicated task. Even just working on using a pickaxe involves hundreds of lines of codes and that’s not even including fixing the bugs and optimizing the game to prevent lags which can involve having to rewrite tens of thousands of codes because unless you’re an expert in programming, you often don’t realize a group of codes can ruin the performance until at the very end. I don’t expect the game to come out until 4-5 more years later unless she wants to release a buggy mess

I love in Floatopia how each character has a myer briggs personality type!! Very cool. That used to be a big thing in older Japanese games where they would list birthdays, zodiac signs, and even blood types for characters. As an infj, Mistika will definitely be my favorite character I think. ❤

I backed them on kickstarter so got very early access and the game was so clunky to play on the steam deck I never picked it back up

I assumed it played better on PC but just didn't try haha. I wasn't going to request a refund, I know that's the risk of kickstarter, and I do still hope it comes out and I can play it one day! But I had pre downloaded it for a plane ride so I was just a lil bummed when it couldn't be my plane entertainment

I want a game that has the visuals of haunted chocolatier but no woodland stuff I just want a nice town living game with those visuals where sure there could be some kind of mystery that will unravel as you do favors for the townspeople and you live in a cozy lowkey broken down cottage and preferably has an inactive train station that for some reason still has someone working there who is bored out of his mind waiting for the next train to come and then at night a whole bunch of stuff happens and you gotta try to listen in without getting caught :)
