I have no idea why Fallout 3's metro system isn't on the #1 slot. That was confusing *af* and I've played it hundreds of hours and still don't know how the fastest way to get anywhere in DC.

Anyone remember the nightmares in max Payne 1 where you had to follow the babies crying. I didn’t know how to do it and the crying was terrifying
@APPEALtoFEAR3 жыл бұрын
Every time I come back to Max Payne (which I do often) I make sure to turn my speakers all the way down at that section. I guess it's not a huge deal if you can hit F9 quickly enough, but I can't stand when the crying gets louder if you fall. I don't think that section is that hard/confusing after playing through the game multiple times, but I totally understand (and remember) how nerve wracking it would be the first time through.

Working my way through UC4 right now - it hasn't been too bad but some of the levels are just so large and have so many passageways and you want to explore each one. You do that and you end up getting turned around and you're not sure if you've been down this corridor yet or climbed up that wall already, etc, etc.

in Dragon Age origins. in the tower of Magi after the abominations take over and your sent into the spirit world. Trying to figure out how to get back out to each of the little Islands when I played it for the first time was super difficult. And back then when the game first came out there was no KZbin to go find a walk through I had to go out and buy the gamer guide just to try to figure out how to get out of this level. And even to this day if I want to go back and play through the game I try to do that challenge first cuz last time it took me 8 hours to try to get through.

Yeah , lost woods was easy, all you had to do was follow the music.

How did the lost woods make it on here but not the water temple? The lost woods is more or less 5 or 6 rooms of confusion and lucky guessing, while the water temple is like 4 floors of mazes that raise and lower the water level throughout the whole dungeon without much indication of where to go next. like 6 hours later from just wandering eventually you make
@someoneelse50057 жыл бұрын
Lost Woods is not about guessing at all but about visual cues. Ever room is different, and every hole that is blacked out completely can be gone through, all the ones that lead to exit have a white circle in the middle.

Just keep following the giant stone areas that are almost impossible to ignore. When you're new to the area and try and search through the whole thing for individual items and stuff, it gets harder because you don't have an obvious goal, but it's pretty hard to get lost if you just care about progressing forward.

I love how every point he made about the library in CE was exactly why I loved that mission. I remember being a kid and getting the shit scared out of me by the onslaught of flood, and there was nothing getting in the way of me and the parasite.
@aquate36387 жыл бұрын
Well.....Bungie wanted The Library from Halo to be repetative and haunting...Bungie intensionally wanted to give you nightmares after scaring you in the previous mission 343 Guilty Spark. I personally like the Library. Also on the anniversary graphics there are some arrows on the floor pointing to where you need to go. We also have proof that it was Bungies intensions to give us nightmares....When you ride the 1/4 elavators,you get a checkpoint,and in the bottom right corner it says: ,,Wait,it gets worse'', ,,I don't want to ride the elevator'' and other stuff.

Blight Town isn't bad either though, as long as you don't listen to gameranx and rush through - the enemies can be aggro'd one or two at a time, if you slowly walk through. They take a long time to pathfind their way to you, but if you listen for them and wait for them to come to you, you can control the encounters better and it'll only really be the toxic sniper guys that cause you any bother

@KeybladeMasterAndy7 жыл бұрын
Twisted Tempo3 Chapter 13 was easy for me and now made even easier with the update patches. You were encouraged to hide from the robots before they spot you either way, but the ring is more powerful now and if you check the map(not the minimap), you'll see where you've been and can see where other paths start that you might have missed. Otherwise, you can just go with Gladio and Ignis now thanks to the March update, but I'm a completionist and it angers me that they didn't include the option to switch to Noctis at rest points like how you can switch to Gladio while at most of them. The tower, I agree with you. I eventually just waited until I was at a higher level. But it's nothing compared to the Pitioss Ruins. No battles. Just navigation puzzles. Took me six hours and then I forgot to save afterwards. 😖

I remember an early game called Way Out where you were in a maze and your job was to find your way out. However, there was something that would run about stealing your map which only showed where you had been. If you tracked the thing down you could get it back but you couldn't kill it. It was very easy to get lost in any level of the game.

@gameranx i got lost in Borderlands 1 Claptrap Robolution DLC "Sanders Gorge" because its a confusing maze of tunnels, its so dark, and almost everything is generic looking in that level so there are no landmarks to be found. I would say "Frostburn Canyon" from Borderlands 2 as an honorable mention but you can get used to that level's layout, especially since there are landmarks in that area.

When Running through the Lost Woods, If the music wasn't a hint and you were still confused, Look closely at the Doorways. The Really Dark Texture vs The Dark with a little brownish thing in the corner. The doors with the All Black Texture means Next Room. The others with the little brown spot at the corner meant it took you to either out, or another Instance in the Game. For example, The Goron mountain entrance, or it teleports you to where the Forest Temple is. :) I Hope this helped

@Tenchi107 жыл бұрын
Ephemeral Fantasia, there is one dungeon where you specifically need a top-down view to get through. Even then you must not fiddle with where north is. Then there are monsters that pop up like an old school Final Fantasy game or Pokemon game, completely random encounters. There are switches to hit and you must have the memory of a god to recount steps back to specific switches... It was a nightware. Takes a literal 3 days without a map.
