Just look how trash uncharted 4 is, started my gaming career with Uncharted 2, so I was super hyped but in the end it turned out to be nothing more than walking, talking, fake climbing simulator. in terms of gameplay Even older uncharted games had more depth than 4. They removed all the good things like ability to counter and ability to throw grenades back. They went completely backwards and made gameplay so mindless that only zombie casuals can enjoy. In my opinion uncharted games don't really have good stories but uncharted 4 story was just horrible, Sam the liar tells his brother that he is being threatened by Mafia leader for some ancient pirate treasure and instead of going against this Mafia leader. His mass murderer brother decides to go against some other crazy millionaire guy who is also been searching for the same treasure. What are disappointment it was. If people had criticized back in the day, Last of Us 2 could have been much better.

Driver: San Fransisco is one of the best driving games ever made. Unfortunately, at least on PC, is next to impossible to buy now for whatever reason. I remember when that game came out. The graphics were insane, the story was decent, but the gameplay was incredible. The multiplayer was a blast, the single player was fun... I loved that game.

as a kid my friend and my games collection wasnt amazing but we always had fun playing goldeneyes rogue agents multiplayer. Thats where it truly got hella goofy and a lot of fun could be had because the maps were so unique and if i recall correctly they all had special traps on each one you could use against others. It was nice to get lost in and the atmosphere was fun, the hubworld was fun, building cool vehicles and finding parts and rare parts, and collectibles... Nuts and Bolts had some nice big levels that were really fun to explore, great art direction, and really varied builds you could give your vehicles. The physics were sometimes infuriating but it was way ahead of its time. I get people wanting a proper sequel but not people throwing a tantrum over it.

It's mainly the fact that they removed most of the offline modes for the sake of online and/or vr, and their clear elitism and laziness when it comes to dubbing. I also heard that they don't properly deal with the rage-quitting issue. If it's true, then even the online experience is flawed.

Unpopular opinion here: Zelda botw. It’s not even bad it’s just not a Zelda game. I’ve been a Zelda nut since alttp and with the exception of the handheld console Zeldas which i never played, all the major ones were fan-fuck-in-tastic. They were all unique and immersive and one never quite knew what to expect from the next entry. I can play Twilight for hours and then go sail around on Windwaker no problem. Enter Breath of the non-linear boring ass wild and you have every young person’s favorite Zelda entry. I can’t tell you how many times I turned that game on just to turn it off like 30 minutes later cuz I just didn’t have a strong enough will to do any of the infinite possible things. Like was linear Zelda ever even a problem? No, Falcon. No it wasn’t. Look at the numbers. Oot probably did best and it was as linear as a book. Never once while playing any of the incredible linear Zelda games of my childhood did i think 🤔 jeez, ya know what would make this game better? Hours of doing stuff of no consequence. Oh, and let’s remove the absolute best part while we’re at it- the dungeons. Who wants an epic creepy sequence of puzzles, combat, lore, a special new power, and a boss battle when we can just have 120 identical looking mini puzzles instead without any of that cool stuff i just mentioned except the puzzle part? Me, dude. A true fucking Zelda fan. That’s who. Nintendo can kiss my overly zealous buttcheeks for ruining my most beloved and favorite franchise of all time. And you know damn well they can’t go back now. It’s in open world territory and it’s there to stay. fin

I know the fanboy crowd will hate me for this but both GT5 and GT-Sport dissapointed me a lot. GT5 I was shocked to discover still wasn't out when I got my PS3 a full 3 years after release. I'd even heard it was supposed to be out at launch or soon after (wish I could remember where I read that). It was compared to duke nukem forever as being probably the 2nd most late game at the time. I even saw some sucker on the playstation blog bragging he'd booked a weeks vacation starting on release day just to play the game only to have it delayed by another 2 weeks literally the next day. He'd planned to use that week to play the game but ended up sitting at home staring at the wall. The other thing that bothered me about the game was the abysmal car handling which has been the case with the entire series thus far. It's like driving drunk on ice with alternatively either greased rims then bald flat tires. GT-sport was dissapointing that the game launched online only with no campaign mode at all. You'd think I'd have learned the lesson from the previous entries but nooooooo I bought it day 1 n waited months before scapes then campaign mode was added. Car handling hasn't improved though the far fewer cars do look much better while repeatedly slamming into walls after being rammed / pitted by AI cars on every turn.

I played the shit out of MOH Warfighter. I played the originals as a kid too. I completely disagree with it being on this list. I had so much fun playing that campaign and the multiplayer. I even preferred it over Battlefield 3 in a lot of ways which is saying a lot because I love Battlefield 3 and 4, and 3 is widely considered the peak of Battlefield. I would still play Warfighter if they hadn’t shut off the servers and stopped selling it on Steam and Origin.

So many issues, blimps occasionally spin outta control when ur driving, jumping a monster truck and landing it on a destructible wooden bridge like a small village made the car just explode instantly, and something I'm sick of seeing....in the monster truck stadium if you follow the dirt track around there's a whole section that is hovering above the ground by a few feet entirely so you just clip through. Hate seeing games that the devs didnt bother to even apply textures to properly. Reminds me of division 2 in that way, that game had entire chunks of missing ground and hovering leftover textures and collision boxes

Yh they got rid of the bases to take over only to replace it with a something similar but no where near as fun, but not only that a mechanic that stops your progression until you unlock enough xp that you barely get enough of so it forces you to go around looking for red stuff to blow up only unlike the last game there are less of them grouped together and you dont feel like your achieving anything because there is no reward for doing it so it becomes boring fast. It takes so long to get the xp to unlock the next zone to get the next mission you lose interest. I didnt finish it cause I got bored

Force Unleashed 2 was far more refined than the first from a gameplay standpoint, which is ultimately the most important thing when judging a game's worth. It's a good game.

I tend to agree there. Most of the times I tend to play a video game before I read any reviews or see any reviews and sometimes I am shocked to find out games I've played where genuinely disliked/hated. To give an example I completely shut my social media off around the time Cyberpunk 2077 came out, and I had gotten it on the pc- apparently I was one of the lucky ones where I really didn't have any game breaking bugs I'd crash very rarely. And by the time I turned on my social media I was flabbergasted about the release tbh.

From a technical standpoint, it's a better game, and I like reflecting laser blasts and the boss battles and quick time events were greatly improved. But compelling story is just gone. The first game felt like an giant unfolding saga of dynamic characters. It's a slow, emotional build where you don't know where it's heading but eventually pays off. The second game is just... I need to find this woman. I don't care about the empire or rebels, I just want to find her. She's not even a character, just an objective that somehow matters to us, even if we aren't the person she knew. The first game is a lot harder. For players like me, that's not an a drawback, but it may be for others.

That's not entirely true Fallen Order has no micro-transactions, and they fixed Star wars Battlefront two so it wasn't pay to win, their old days isn't masterpiece worthy either. Would Hunt Down the Freeman count? Technically it was a fan-made game but it tried to be a sequel to Half-Life/prequel to Half-Life 2. The sad thing is that it actually had some good ideas that might have worked if it had the slightest bit of competence behind it, but unfortunately the development was so poorly co-ordinated that everything ended up being poorly executed. A parkour system like they tried to experiment with actually could have been a good way to expand on Half-Life's usual gameplay, even the attempt to shift from shooter to tactical shooter could have made some interesting gameplay experiences. Basically, the whole thing is a mess. The game itself is full of poor level design, objectives that aren't clear or require the player to go to bizarre lengths to accomplish, misleading cues, and a story could have had some interesting ideas but ended up being muddled and confusing and sometimes actually conflicting with its source material.

I agree with the entirety of this list except for one, Driv3r. It might be a horrible GTA sorta rip off, but I don’t remember the game being bad at all and I recall having genuine amounts of fun playing it. I might need to revisit it to see if my nostalgia goggles are fuzzy, but hell people absolutely hate DmC and loved it then so I replayed it, and yea my opinion hasn’t changed. Before anyone throws any hate my way let me just say this, DmC isn’t a horrible game, it’s just a horrible DMC game. It could absolutely stand on its own, but being attached to the DMC franchise is what hurts it.
