Hey i have a suggestion for a video..MCT oil is technically a refined food and has no vitamins or minerals that are required for fat metabolism. It will cause nutrient deficiencies similarly to white sugar. The keto people are not seeing this and that's part of the reason people get keto rash. Refined food is refined food whether its keto or not. Keto is not magical like alot of people think..its all about nutrient density whether keto or not. We need to pay attention to this..

Hi Doc, I can’t get my head around how you are the only person on KZbin who delivers such depth of information, not to mention how simplistically you explain it. For example “Rebound Parasympathetic”, I have never heard this expression before but how you explain the concept makes so much sense and brilliantly defines the whole concept of HIIT and how these short term stresses work to our benefit. Overall a brilliantly detailed video and I can see why you now only do one video per week. Better to have Quality than just Quantity. Thanks again Doc.

Thank you Garry Rowland. There are people who know a lot more on various topics, but I try to ask different questions. Knowing something is useless if you don't know how to apply it and how it fits into the bigger picture of how the body works. Thank You.
@wordsculpt4 жыл бұрын
Excuse me, but the word you wanted was "simply ", not "simplistically ".Simplistically means over simplified to the extent that important information is left out, and what remains is no longer entirely reliable. (Don't worry, it's a fairly common mistake! But all the same, you just inadvertently insulted his presentation!)

Thank you Doctor. You have changed my life in more ways than one. I have lost so much weight in a matter of weeks. My clothes fit better, (I can tuck my blouses in without worrying about the bulges and hangovers - my stomach got flat in a month!), my eyes and face aren't puffy, my ankles and fingers aren't swollen, I have ZERO stomach issues like bloating and acid build-up. KETO IS FREEDOM!!! I do HIIT twice per week and walk a lot. I employ your strategies to sleep better to activate Growth Hormone. I have experienced mental clarity, no headaches, no inflammation in the joints.....I am flexible as ever. One skin tag had literally fallen off!!! I FAST INTERMITTENTLY DAILY, and went close to 48 hours on one occasion on just water! Get this, my shoes no longer fit! ( loss of water weight I believe). My shoes have gotten heavy and roomy!! Listen!!! KETO IS FREEDOM! I thank God for you Dr. Ekberg and I thank God for knowledge and understanding. I've never felt better in my life! Oh and I'm able to effortlessly get by on OMAD! Thomas has a wide variety of information but after I went deeper into human physiology I see that the information he gives is inconsistent and lacking at times. Maybe he just has the general knowledge of physiological topics but doesn't seem like he did enough study to be able to properly teach it but I appreciate the hustle. Also like Modest Energy said, he does give narcissistic vibes, ain't nothing wrong with loving your body but please, do it privately, be professional so I can take you seriously.

I filled the tub with the same amount of water each time and measured the before and after temp of the water, i lost on average around 500 kcals from each bath(calculated from the heating of the water). I lost alot of weight during that time, sadly i had to move to a new place and i do not have a bathtub anymore. But it was interesting to see the effects of termogenics.

I love your content Dr. It's very informative and updated. I can relate easily with everything explained in an easy to understand terminology. I love weight lifting but most girls around my community is afraid of it. They are afraid that they will bulk-up in muscle, although it's factually not true. But i find it hard to convince them, because they will come up with other excuse not to do HIIT or, strength training. Some people are just not so kin to make exercise apart of their lifestyle journey.
