Such a good and cute video. I was just talking with one of my colleagues yesterday about how many people dont know how to "work" (read style) the things they have in their closets. And it was done with an item that I think most people would view as challenging since its a strappy, lightweight, patterned dress. Would love to see you style a true basic like a pair of khaki trousers to demonstrate how investing in a quality pair of well fitting pants can serve many different occasions and situations. And, in closing, always appreciate that you share that your item was thrifted; reminding folks that there are treasures to be found at the thrift store with a little bit of effort.

@@DaniWalker -- I look forward to seeing them. You're approach is relatable and easy to follow, and most folks have the types of basics you used making your tips very realistic. My favorite look was the black wrap blouse over the dress. That outfit could be worn to any number of occasions and be appropriate. Bling it out with accessories for an evening event or tone them down for something more casual. A really great look. Would love to see you do a thrift challenge; making a complete outfit, shoes, bag and accessories included, for like $20. I'm not sure where you live but here in AZ where I live some stores have dollar day sales where you can pick up deals for a buck, so $20 should be plenty for you to make an impressive 'fit. 😀👗👚👛👡🧥

Feel a little late to the party here, but these tips are really great! I have this gorgeous navy backless slip dress that unfortunately haven't gotten too much wear, but now that spring's finally here I feel ready to dive into it :-) I wore it to a wedding last fall with a white button down shirt, knotted at the waist, grey suede pumps and a golden-chained black leather crossover bag. Seems like too much mixing of colors/neutrals, but it really worked out great!

So many places. Of course I advocate for resale sites like Thred Up. Brands like Zara make a ton of slip dress styles. I think the one in this episode is actually from Zara. I thrifted it.
