The INFJ personality type, commonly known as The Advocate or Counselor, is one of sixteen in the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI). INFJs account for about 1-3 percent of the population. If you get an INFJ personality type, it suggests you're introverted, intuitive, feeling, and judging. Dominant: Introverted Intuition is your primary cognitive function. Extroverted Feeling: Auxiliary Introverted Thinking (tertiary). Extroverted Sensing is inferior. The MBTI test was designed to help people understand their own communication styles and how they connect with others. As an INFJ, I can confirm that this is one hundred percent accurate. This is exactly what I have experienced throughout my life. That's why I'm distancing myself more and more from people. I love being alone with myself without having to feel the toxic energies of others. I am grateful for the great video, thank you. 💫

INFJs like to live in truth - both comfortable and uncomfortable. Other people are constantly weaving in and out of the truth, so encountering an INFJ can be jarring, but also a breath of fresh air.

We are our own people, do our own thing and follow our own dreams and ideals. We have little time for people who are shallow, conform and unaware of the greater good and what is actually important.

we like to fix problems whereas other like to create them , as far as i am concerned there are no problems only solutions waiting to be realized , but some people don't want the problems to be solved and cause them faster than we can fix them .

No doubt. They need drama and something to talk about to feel important.

Brutal honesty or truthfulness is frightening for those who are toxic. They can't pull their BS and don't know what to do with all that truth. You can't bend it or twist it. The truth is the truth. 💯 They have nothing to work with at that point. 😎

Either they hate me or love me there is no middle or in between. People are threatened by intelligence.

INFJs are not perfect, that's for sure. INFJs do have their dark side as well.
@andy1971williams2 жыл бұрын
yes but we need to be pushed , naturally we are friendly and helpful .

We don’t think we’re perfect, that’s other peoples perceptions of us. 😊

@@MsKimLorraine usually toxic people will resort to that "perfection" as if we care about being perfect

there are so many shallow and toxic though...the older you get the less naive you are and you like people less especially old people because now you see through that mask

Through healing codependency I am so much stronger in standing up to toxic people. In my previous job with a toxic manager who would shake his finger at me, I did the same to him. The situation was so bad that I had to leave and happy to have peace again.

As far as small talk. It can start with it. Then the conversation gets turned towards a deeper aspect. Some need to be warmed up first to certain topics. And may feel awkward if the conversation immediately jumps into the deep end of the pool. I will eventually see if they can swim. (Figure of speech). Great video thank you. Spot on!

Small talk is essential to give love to someone who is hurting or to help someone with low self-esteem/confidence to be more at ease. Otherwise it’s a total waste of time!

I believe it's a flaw of humanity to envy another, so yes, I have. What makes us as mankind better is when we strive to overcome one's self.

These INFJ videos describe me to a tee. I used to think when people chided me for being brutally honest it was because I was culturally a New Englander. Or so I was led to believe by non-New Englanders. I try to keep the peace but will slam a toxic, negative person and let them know I am intelligent and can outthink them. I used to be intimidated by them as a teenager. Over the years, I have developed an inventory of retorts and damning statements to shut them up. If you don't, it empowers them, and they can become a bully at which time they need to be stopped or slammed. If not stopped they will feel powerful and in their pride walk over you in front of others. Once you publicly shame them, they will avoid you as though you don't exist, which is a good thing. Who needs shallow individuals around them.

For sure. When you know, you know. And so you can show it in your eyes, even if you respond with a smile and hello when they finally decide to give you one.

Thank you always 10. Yes. Nearly everything does that. 8. Yes, to a point. Not for full conversations but as an 'ice breaker'. 6. For narcissists, very satisfying. For others, not satisfying. I'd rather that they get it. But I can't dictate what others think. 4. Yes. But about as rare as hen's teeth. 2. Not envied but admired. There is a thin line between the two. I'd just like to add this: "Never expect of others that which you cannot exact yourself.' U.S.M.C. Officer's motto. Good words for anyone to live by. Thank you again. God bless everyone.

I tell them the truth I see. If they don't like it, I create a narcissistic injury by taking them back to their trauma because I'm not afraid of bullies. Then I introduce them to salvation in Christ Jesus. I remind them that there hatred of God is unfounded. He didn't hurt them but he can sure give them the one thing they can't find, love. Cheers
