Edge's return at the 2020 Royal Rumble was a genuinely emotional moment because no one thought he'd ever return to a ring.

Undertaker deserve to be on this list more he was buried alive and set on fire so no one expected him to return but he did and had a successful career despite this horrible injury.

that's scripted. While Undertaker did suffer some injuries , he never had a career ending one like Edge @@lamjianhua2884

Question: Should Ricky Steamboat also be on this list? He was forced to retire in ‘94 due to a back injury, and was never treated seriously by WWE after ‘87. And yet, despite his career seemingly being over after WCW, he returned for a final run in WWE leading up to WrestleMania 25, and put on an almost ageless performance with Chris Jericho, reminding us who he was, and why he was good, all while putting over Jericho as well. It kinda seems that through a roundabout way leading to his HOF induction, he brought his career back from the dead to me.

Drew McIntyre and Jinder Mahal. Jinder not so much anymore. But he went from a nobody to world champ. Drew got fired after being in a band. Came back and beat Brock clean for the world title. Cody Rhodes. Went from stardust to being the most over guy in all of wrestling

Mahal only got his push because Vince was trying to please the India market (even though Mahal is Canadian). And his push to relevance only lasted a few months anyway.

I wish the Rock was on here. He literally was pitched as a blue chipper until he turned heel and joined the Nation of Domination to pull a Stone Cold and transform him into possibly the biggest megastar of the Attitude Era

The Rock. He wasn't clicking with the audience. He looked dead in the water until he joined the Nation of Domination in August of 97. He had time in WWE before where he did good work, he just didn't connect to the fans. As a heel he got over.

Even tho I, usually, greatly enjoy this format, especially when it's about wrestling, I only watch Simon's content from this channel, and that wouldn't mean anything if I wasn't watching all videos of this type from every other wrestling channel that I'm subscribed to. And I would have definitely unsubscribed, if it wasn't for Simon, and if he wasn't THE MOST AMAZING PERSON IN ALL OF THE INTERNET WRESTLING COMMUNITY™ One love ❤️ ❤❤

I’m still confused where this narrative that Nia made Becky came from. Does everyone forget she went “heel” on Charlotte but everyone loved it so much they wouldn’t stop cheering for her? That made her. Nia broke her nose and she walked away from a fight bloody and smiling but she was already super over by that point and leading her squad to attack Raw. Nia just fd up and made Becky get a cool pic for her shirt.

Dolph Ziggler is so talented that I never realized how stupid his name was until now , after all these years of watching him wrestle. Like Simon put it. The fact that this guy got over with such a stupid name(already telling you that WWE creative never had much planned for him) and still became not just a multi-time champ but also world champ, speaks volumes

The Rock should be on this list. H started as a bland babyface billed a "the blue chipper" going nowhere before getting injured and having to a break to heal. He returned and was added to the Nation of Domination as a heel which led to showing his cocky side and his charisma. That led to him becoming a megastar as the "People's Champ" and his rivalry with Stone Cold.

Now while yes LA Knight did dress up in a Halloween costume for NXT 2.0 at Halloween Havoc at least he was still LA Knight and even cut a nice promo that day but man he definitely did resurrect his character from that dreaded Max Dupriiiii! Manager gimmick. The man deserves a Wrestlemania match and a Wrestlemania main event match too that should be a damn classic. Plus he is a combo of the Rock and Stone Cold so him having a great Mania match shouldn't be a problem also the man deserves multiple different title runs
