Wish that tag team rule would have applied in video games, especially in the older ones. One of the most annoying match types in wrestling video games are tag matches specifically because partners have nigh unlimited run-in attempts, making actually winning a match exceedingly difficult, and frustrating if your partner's AI is dumb as a bag of rocks (looking at you PS1/N64 era, looking at you).

The tag rope rule is not a meaningless one. It is to ensure fairness in the match. The rule states that the wrestler have to be in contact with the tag rope in order to be able to tag into a match. Hence having one tag rope being longer wld give an unfair advantage to a team.

In Ontario, Canada, until the early 2000's, wrestlers and the entire show had to be licensed. The show could only be called an "exhibition." And, there was an actual governing body to enforce a whole whack-load of ludicrously outdated rules. However, they only really cared about those three, because of heavy fines, and even shutting down the entire show could be used as penalties. It was all just a major cash grab, as licensing had to be done annually for wrestlers. One of the reasons WWF/E didn't do that many shows there.

I know wrestling commissions do sort of exist in different states in America, like I've heard...I THINK in Maryland they are pretty strict about blood in matches, New York had a really funny rule, I can't remember. @SnuuSnuu3 жыл бұрын
In Kentucky they have a commission and with blood it has to be done with approval and previous blood work done. If there is blood in a match the person has to get to the back and stop the bleeding and then he is able to come back out. If not then yea it's done for. Oh and you only have 30 seconds to get out of there because of it. Another rule in Kentucky is every show has to be recorded in case there is an instance where a commissioner isn't there and there was an incident that cause result in fines. The mandatory camera is both for the promoter and fans at that point.
