This video was so useful and inspiring! At point 3 I legit stopped the video to edit the bios of my two main characters and then spent another two-three hours worldbuilding, which I've been wanting for days! Ofc after that I went back and finished the video, but this alone just confirmed that this is my favorite channel about writing!

I absolutely loved the tips. I have picked up writing recently, but I don't know where to start. I have some ideas, but they are sparse and all over the place. I have some characters in mind, and I have a general plot, but how do I feel the spots between these?

Peace be with you 💐💐 your vids are all really helpful. The advice about writing a book I'd WANT to read really helps out a lot. There are books that I think would really be interesting, but the truth is, I don't like the genre OR the plot. I don't know if you have already, but I think it'd be really cool if you make a vid explaining the making abd reason WHY you wrote Catalyst of Control. That'd be really cool!! Also, one last thing: Do you have any tips on writing a book on very dark themes. I want the readers to sit back and just rethink their lives after reading the book.

I'll definitely be making videos about Catalyst of Control in the future-including why and how I started writing it. I love writing dark fiction, so that's a topic I'd love to explore in a video. Keep an eye out.

I also find research an important feature if your book is on a real life typic. There is nothing worst then picking up a book on a subject you love only to fine the author did not do his research.

The show don't tell one I was constantly pausing the Last Airbender live action show repeating this, they ruined the show 😞 But if anything it showed me I don't want people reading my books or watching my future animated shows with that reaction I had, so imma now make sure I show more often than tell, unless I absolutely have to tell

There's a time and place for both, but showing instead of telling is almost always preferable.

I wanna ask something, please if you can answer it.. 1)How can i make money and career out of writing a book? 2)sometimes while i'm writing a book, I'll always get stuck in a moment which i couldnt continue any more. As you previously said, make story from your experience, but even if i tried to do that, i couldn't mold that moment to a certain moment. So please give me a tip? 3)Also whenever im writing a story, i always write somewords like "said, replied, so, like " and much more. If there is any easy way to rectify these things. If you have answers please reply. I really need your help

Sure! I've covered some of these topics in other videos, but let me know if you want anything more specific: 1) I talk about making a career out of writing toward the end of my 1K Q&A video (kzbin.info/www/bejne/Z4GvqJ6NadOJj8U). 2) I've got a couple tips on how to overcome writer's block in another writing tips video (kzbin.info/www/bejne/gpa1iIONo5x3qZI), and I made a video about how to escape a creative rut last year (kzbin.info/www/bejne/p5a9n4KBatx8jtE) 3) I talk a little bit about dialogue tags in this video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/q4erY6eVedhkhZosi=Pvat-KhWK72qldq3&t=150

Thank you.. And also i use chatgpt to write paragraph. So instead of im writing an actual novel, i just give ideas and moments and dialogues to chatgpt, then i copy paste it to my ebook. Is it okay to work like that. What is your opinion
