Vader was well noted as being incredibly emotionally sensitive. I seem to remember reading it was Vader who was at the centre of the Mick Foley's ear being torn off. the part I remember reading is that Vader felt so bad he found Foley backstage and was in tears with remorse.
@robertt93423 жыл бұрын
Even when Vader was recounting his own life experiences, he never came across as the "tough guy" fans thinks he is. He would often get bullied and he'd just take it. It seems like he was actually a decent bloke.
@crazyman76712 жыл бұрын
@@robertt9342 yeah HBK said when he came back and was a much better person, that he was way out of line with how he treated Vader and Vader was an absolute sweetheart and a big teddy bear. Seems to me like the way Vader was in real life is the way we should all strive to be. From what I hear about the real Vader, I would have absolutely loved to meet him.

Kinda like Mark Callaway/Undertaker who in podcasts says that he would always have anxiety attacks before he goes out in the ring. Triple H and Shawn would always be there to pump him. trevor nelson I wouldnt say the british bulldog is largely forgotten I loved him as a kid and he has legions of fans all around the world particularly in england of course. I think bulldog is a legend actually who unfortunately we lost too soon. Neidhart I remember him but yea he is kinda forgotten but he wasnt as talented as the rest of the hart foundation. I didn't know that about HHH but he wasnt married to the bosses daughter at the time they didnt start going out until years after they married in kayfabe. I don't think the new generation (I think thats who you're referring to by smark right? Sorry never heard the word before) hates wrestlers because they are talented I think they hate wrestlers who they see as handpicked by the business or they resent wrestlers because they like another wrestler more and want him in the top spot. I mean they overreact drastically and they don't give people the respect they deserve. Take Reigns for instance the hate he gets I mean I never liked Reigns but to say he sucks or that he has no talent is a shit wrestler etc. Is simply not true.

Strictly speaking, you could say Lita was bullied out of the company too. Sure she was a heel at the time but I felt it was an unsatisfactory end for a legend. Plus WWE would like you to forget 'Piggy' James on her current run.

I wasn't talking about the crowd, it was the disrespect the company showed her at her last PPV when they tossed her belongings into the crowd. Regardless of the Hardy/Edge love triangle, she deserved better than that.

Gavin Woods Oh ok... Your a hundred percent right about the company though (mostly Vince). @adamturner7497 жыл бұрын
To answer regarding hogan what he did was a form of bullying he used his position of power to get wrestlers pushes stopped or even there contracts terminated. Although he didn’t really associate with many of the boys at it was still a form of bullying as he used his position to the detriment of others

Adam Turner i gotta disagree name me 1 guy whos hulk got fired or who's pushed he stopped...He refused to job to certain guys but he never stopped their pushes the guys he refused to work with or lose continued on to have successful careers some hof careers. Wwf wanted macho to hold title while hulk filmed no holds barred and they found a different way of him winning title without him pinning hogan(hulk was vince's huge draw $$$) Vince still got to put belt on savage and created the megapowers storyline wich many today say was best storyline ever macho wasnt buried he just didnt pin hogan. hogan was to vince what tyson was to don king a money making machine it was tru hogan that vince was making money to do things like wrestlemania ect so vince was gona over protect him and hulk was making the most money in the 80s things were different no guaranteed contracts and champions were the highest paid.If you was a wrestler and wanted a big raise you needed to find a way to go over with fans so you can be lucky enough to be a champ or be involved in championship matches, so if you was a champ ofcourse you would try protecting your spot everyone wants and needs more money. Its reason brody got stabbed ppl always want your spot and top guy wants to protect his spot.

Throwback for when Bob Holly tried fucking with Lesnar so Lesnar broke his neck
@xJC4Rx7 жыл бұрын
mrbbell Holly himself said that wasn't true. Lesnar can throw around Big Show no problem, he wouldn't have struggled with a man half the size.
@livingNagony7 жыл бұрын
I know holly said it wasn't true but I don't even recall if holly explained exactly like what happen, so I think he is lying, I mean what did happen? you have to remember with the experience of bob holly I just don't see how it happen if it wasn't some shady stuff on bobs end.

I'm glad Lesnar broke his neck. Bob Holly is a POS.
@n0m4nic7 жыл бұрын
He did. Lesnar had the flu, they miscommunication the lift, rather than give Holly time to assist he decided to power through it and lost his strength halfway up. I think Lesnar even admitted that was the case too.
@livingNagony7 жыл бұрын
yea I can actually remember bob sayin it now but I dunno still doesn't add up, been forever since I seen the clip didn't lesnar kick bobs head afterward ? seems like it could be a story they made up to make them both look good, not kick but like nudged his head

Nice timing with Brock hard punching Strowmans brain into pulp for a minor botch.
@arlosteiner83827 жыл бұрын
callmewisdom if you want to make Brock wobble for real punch him, it's known that Brock doesn't let sparring partners touch his face. Think on that a man in UFC can't stand being punched
@cyberpunkgrappling64477 жыл бұрын
callmewisdom Brock is pissed most of the time, so I wasn't suprised of that punch after Strowman's knee. I would still not call that bullying, it's not like he punched a Cruiserweight for no reasons

"Into a pulp" lol you're over exaggerating Strowman got a minor headache at the very worse

I don't know if you knew this or not but other people like Chris Masters (Adonis) and Nidia were also bullied out of the WWE. In fact, I think that's why Masters left the WWE and is now on Impact Wrestling.
@sparrow4205006 жыл бұрын
JBL also started the Tribute to the Troops event they do every year. "Bully" or not, he should at least get a couple of points for that. I was a Marine in the early 2,000's, before "Tribute" was a thing. I would have LOOOVED something like that!! Speaking purely as a vet, kudos JBL

I've always seen the Be a Star campaign for the past few years as a little bit stupid and whatever the reverse of ironic is? If you think about it what is it that drives the narrative of 75% of WWE TV? Bullying by a heel(s) and then the bullied eventually beats up the bully(s) by using physical violence. So what the message here? "Don't do what we do, Do what we say" lol

Half the Dupree story is missing. Dupree borrowed Holly's rental car and got a ticket. Instead of telling Holly, he kept it a secret until Holly received a summons and had to got to traffic court in another state, missing a couple shows. When he got back, Dupree still wasn't up front about what happened so he slapped the shit out of him in the parking lot.

I had heard for years about JBL, mostly about his pranks, not being good ones plus taking things from people and thinking THAT was funny, The funny part for him was not giving it back till he was ready or making the other person beg. I forget who 1 guy was, but it almost came to blows with JBL still thinking it was funny. That's someone I can do without !
