They also wanted him to do an incest angle with his real life girlfriend in early/mid 1999, who happened to be his on-screen sister at the time; Vince never gave up on his obsession to get two employees (or himself) into an incest angle. He almost got (real-life BF/GF) Paul and Katie Lea Burchill to do this by billing them as siblings, but they were going PG around the time, and it saved them at the last minute...

Baha, in WCW they had Nash doing the "Kevinnie Vegas" gimmick. Anyway, Nash had his haircut and dyed blonde for an upcoming movie role. He played The Russian in the movie "The Punisher". Since Nash had to cut his hair for the movie role they turned it into a storyline where Jericho snipped his locks. 🎬 🎞 🎥 🎦 📽 🎟

All of the events that are mentioned happened before the smartphone and social media era. High speed internet didn't take off until after 2001. If it weren't for these resources, we still wouldn't know about wrestlers and their whereabouts today.

Chyna being Women's Champion in 2001 was NOT a boon to the division; she refused to work back-and-forth matches with any woman on the roster aside from Lita, who she still beat fairly one-sided; she squashed Trish, Molly and Ivory (twice) had one tag match with Lita, and she was done after the JD '01 match...

The WWE had enough of her crap by this point, and her wanting to be paid on the level of Steve Austin and The Rock. They turned that down real quick.
@superbaas88225 ай бұрын
WWE absolutely dodged a bullet with being able to get rid of her, but they left a wound to fester and never healed. They needed to really build a new WWE women's division, and that would take more than a decade for them to even start to consider.
