I love that you did your own decorations. I know that it’s not easy but worth it at the end. I did everything for my wedding including my bouquets 💐 I think the only thing I bought was my wedding dress. We worked on everything for a year with family members helping. It was worth it, because it shows you and you tend to appreciate it more. Hard work pays off!

I’m actually having a quinceañera soon so I’ve kinda been binge watching these and I share her feelings, being stressed and originally not wanting to have a quince since I’m mixed I’ve had people tell me all my life that I don’t really count as Mexican and I shouldn’t celebrate like one and on top of that I’ve struggled with my weight and appearance as well. Looking back I’m able to realize that I’ve come so far from where I used to be but sometimes it’s still hard so hearing her say those beautiful things and love herself totally and completely makes me feel so much better, like I do deserve to have a quince and be happy and that’s really special. I want to thank her even though she’s unaware of how much she’s helped me. I’m going to do my best to keep her words in my heart.

This was the best episode out of the season/ show ! This is the type of example the girls need to set for younger generations of girls! It shouldn’t matter how big,tall,color you are as long as your “you”! I love that she’s not stuck up or ungrateful the whole way through! Unlike these moda models who look 25 years old and act the total opposite! This episode reminds me how back in the days when I was younger they used to do these parties just like in this episode.. the real authentic Quinceañeras. This quince brought back so many memories of my own. I had my quince at my grandpas terreno in Perris, Ca as well. The dresses in 2006 where very different to how they are now but mine was white with bits of baby blue. I didn't care to have a quince either but a few months prior my grandpa passed and his wish was for me to have a quince and to wear converse instead of heels and i went through with it and i don't regret that day one bit. Just last October i got married in that same terreno and this really just brings back so many wonderful memories and i wish you all the best mija ❤
