Remember that it goes both ways. Dams impound nutrients that should have reached the ocean, which would have fed the things that fish feed on.

Rivers were made to naturally flow freely not held back by dams.

All dams, except those built by beavers are an environmental disaster. Blocking fish. Blocking estuary building sediment from reaching the delta estuary, collapsing estuaries worldwide.

And here in California, Gavin Newsom wants to build another dam. Soon we in California will loose our fisheries for the sake of industrial farming...
