Have you seen WWE 2K20’s graphics? Uncharted 2, a game released and compacted in size for the PS3 alone looks much more realistic and visually stunning, Naughty Dog is revolutionary to this day.

natansh kumar i would recommend it althought it was on ps plus last month. I find uc 1 not good when i play so just keep going until you get to 2, from there the experience should be smoother

@@natanshkumar132 yeah you should. It was free a few months ago. I played the games out of order, and nothing changed, so you can do the same. I recommend starting from 2, then 3 and last uncharted 1. 1 is the worst out of all of them, not to say it's bad, but it's mediocre at best.

Uncharted 2 is one of the few games where you can drop right in, and not feel left out, if you haven't played previous installments. I was given Modern Warfare 3 at an admittedly young age, and without having played the previous two installments, I had no clue about No Russian, or how important Soap was to Captain Price. With Uncharted 2, I knew that, without playing Drake's Fortune, Elena had met Drake, Sully was his mentor, and Flynn & Chloe were supposed to be new to us, but old friends to Nate. It has the best writing of any game in the series, and many would agree. Amy Hennig's work in the first three main installments, as well as Golden Abyss, was the soul of the series, and Uncharted 4 felt empty without her. Lost Legacy, however, felt eerily similar to an Uncharted 2 reboot, even down to the train-hopping fight, cave cities, and paramilitary enemies. I contend that it's what made it so successful - playing to our nostalgia of Among Thieves, while being different enough to not be called out as such. In closing, I feel that Uncharted hit its peak ten years ago, and Naughty Dog is desperate to find a new mountain to climb, perhaps with Cassie in the spotlight of Uncharted 5.

It's incredible how much you and I seem to agree on every aspect of this game. You even manage to verbalize feelings I had about the game but couldn't put words to (the game's natural progression from location to location, Lazaravic being an objectively one-dimensional, yet still utterly compelling villain, also falling off the cliff after the convoy). This game is more important to me personally than I could adequately express in a comment. It goes beyond just a video game, but it had a profound impact on my life and how I grew as a person throughout my adolescence. I don't think any video game, movie, book, whatever will ever be able to top this in my book.

Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune was my first PS3 game when I purchased one back in 2009. Lucky for me, Uncharted 2 was released not long after I’ve beaten Drake’s Fortune. Out of all of the Uncharted installments, Among Thieves is definitely my favorite of the whole series.

What I love about U2 is how the theme of desperation is present in every part of the game. It really felt like you were on an impossible mission, and anyone could die in the end. Now I know the story front to back I don't really get that feeling anymore, but I remember how special this was to me when I played it for the first time. All these years later this is still the feeling I chase in games. Arkham Knight came really close, with its story that also has a theme of inevitability woven into it.

I didn't even know about these games back then and was kind of a newbie in gaming at that time, anyway. But I'm sure that this was the greatest game of its time. And as much as I love Uncharted 4, I think this one is still holding the number 1 spot in the series. And, I have to mention this: The "There's a guy above you, there's a guy above you. Uncharted 2 was the first game I played in the series when it came out. I was in high school and my friend was playing it one day when I came over and was blown away at how awesome the game looked. He let me borrow it as soon as he finished and I was hooked. It was probably the most fun I’ve ever had playing a video game at the time. I enjoyed it so much it was my first platinum on ps3. I then played uncharted 1 to see what I missed out when it came out.

Amy, Bruce, and (not just) Neil where all there, and what they were able to accomplish just TWO YEARS after the release of the first Uncharted is... mind blowing. Current Naughty Dog is a shell of its former greatness, which saddens me greatly as Uncharted is my favorite franchise.

I've just replayed 2 and 3. Among thieves is an absolute masterpiece, I can't quite believe it's 12 year's old.

Really remarkeable game, I was 17 when it came out, and I still vividly remenber those times, was a fanboy of Uncharted ever since 2008, and devoured any news and info released on magazines about U2 with immense anticipation, and that first U2 online beta hyped me further cuz not only I could test the improved gameplay, but it also was online, Uncharted ONLINE! And it fit quite in, played that coop beta like crazy (also did comp, but most of my favorite U2 online moments come from coop with friends). That beta was a drug.

When that game came out I was working for Sony and they gave me a free copy of uncharted 2 few days before release date... At that moment I have no clue about uncharted... a few days later I just couldn’t stop playing and replaying it over and over again this game has everything

This game is my first game on my ps3 in I remember in 2014 I play this every day and when I bought a ps4 I bought uncharted 4 and uncharted 1 2 and 3 remaster so happy and excited to play and in the end when I found all the treasures and got my platinum I feel the emptiness I can't choose if I like uncharted 2 or uncharted 4 I love this series but all good things must come to an end thank you Nathan Drake and thank you naughty dog

I still remember being a kid in one of the big electronics stores near my house with my parents and seeing a giant cardboard display for UC2. Drake hanging off the train, with a TV looping one of the trailers. I didn't game yet at that age, but I never forgot about "that game with the guy and the train" until I finally got my chance to play it years later.

I went back to play Uncharted 2 the other day and so much of what I did in the first few missions was just muscle memory it was really bizarre but kinda felt like coming back to my childhood.

Just replayed Among Thieves for the second time. A true masterpiece. Hard to believe Naughty Dog let Amy Hennig go. The original trilogy is something special. I understand the appeal and occasional brilliance of 4 but Druckmann is a deconstructionist and deconstruct is exactly what he did. I feel Hennig understood Drake on a level that Druckmann could only imitate like some sort of clever decoy. Still a great sendoff for the series but I really wish we had Hennig's version.
