I firmly believe that you will accomplish this goal considering that your Going Home series, Zach's engagement vid series, and even this video right now are very cinematic representations of your abilities.

Honestly, you and Jess are probably at the top place in my personal rating of the people I consider successful. I’ve been following you guys since before you were even engaged, and one word that comes to my mind when thinking of your life is ‘balance’. You managed to build successful careers with multiple directions of your work (vlogging, brand partnerships, music, film, what not), buy a home, build a family and also have fun and make memories, which is equally important. I understand what you’re saying about fulfillment, but it’s also important to not miss out on the pleasures of everyday life, the moments with your loved ones and opportunities to make memories. I look up to both of you. I wish you all the success, strength and determination to achieve your personal goals, but please remember that what you have already achieved inspires me and many other of your followers.

This is ART. This video is so real. You live a real life Gabriel (which the internet always try to show us the opposite) Thank you for this, I’m about to turn 30 and I didn’t know I needed this video until now. I never felt more related and inspired, specially with the part “serial starter” and still feeling like 23yo. I guess it will be like this for a while… I’ve always felt inspired by you and Jess, for different reasons. Love u guys. I’m just a brazilian fan about to turn 30. :)

Hi, I’m Mariana. I’ve been following you since I was 12, and now, at 20, I can genuinely say you’ve been one of my biggest inspirations. Seeing you and Jess grow and try so many different things over the years has shaped my mindset in ways I didn’t fully realize until now. While you recently adopted the belief that going through each failure without losing passion is its own kind of success, I’ve been learning this from you all along. Watching your journey has helped me embrace this mindset at such a young age, and I can’t thank you enough for that. I’ve never commented on your videos before, but this one truly resonated with me, and I had to share. Thank you for inspiring me to see the beauty in growth.

We were dating in post production, so I’ve seen first hand how hard it is. He poured so much into it- it is a calling for sure. It’s no easy feat- we have so many God stories with the filming and release. Love that you’re infested in film- will pray for this project!

I love Jess and Gabe. I've been watching them since 2016! I can't help but feel like Gabe has always put too much pressure on himself. He has high standards, which is good, but also dentrimental to your health. If you've been in therapy, you've heard about self-compassion. It's a big one. I feel like Gabe needs to show himself some self-compassion. Keep pursuing what you love, keep moving forward but don't forget you would never put the standards you have for yourself on a person you love. So, dont beat yourself up. Life is an experience, not a performance. Just living, being here, is already enough. If Gabe never did anything else, he would still have so much success and an amazingly beautiful life. That is enough. That being said, continue to thrive, continue to do amazing things, just remove that pressure and high standard that it isn't enough because it is. ❤ It really truly is.❤

I’ve been following you for a while, and I absolutely love watching you and your family! My little brother reminds me so much of you in so many ways-he’s the most determined man I’ve ever met, but he’s also incredibly critical of himself, which sometimes worries me. Watching this video is so refreshing because, even though you’re aware of your mistakes, you don’t dwell on them. This was so beautiful! I really liked how you mentioned people being so obsessed with youth and being happy. That's something that has been weighing me down as I entered adulthood, thinking that these next few years are the last of the best years of my life or that things won't get better than high school. What if we realized that every age matters and every year counts, not just for a future goal but for who you want to be today? I'm so happy that you're making a short film and excited to see how it will turn out.

I love this Gabe and I am also a “serial starter” . I have so much creativity, ideas, vision and when it doesn’t take off how I’d hoped- if people don’t LOVE it- I get discouraged, i let go and drop it off. The dopamine runs out. BUT I decided no more excuses, I have so much to give, to add, to create not just for other but for myself. I’m tired of disappointing myself by giving up. We can do this!

We often feel isolated in our struggles when it comes to accomplishing goals, trying to reach the standards we have placed for ourselves that we can’t reach, and finding fulfillment while we are trying to figure out what will make us feel fulfilled in the years to come. Even though these struggles are personal there are millions of people dealing with these same struggles. The advice I’m taking from this video is to take the risks I wouldn’t take that make me feel comfortable. (As long as it’s not dangerous.) I might not be able to talk to my older self about what I should do but I know that when I’m older I can talk to my younger self and say thank you for getting me here.

I needed this now that I'm feeling like a failure and my emotions always gets the best of me. I've always entail the word 'fulfillment' with happiness, so it's safe to say that I haven't been feeling happy since I have not fulfilled what I want to be yet. You're right, prioritize what's important because happiness is only momentary. This video spoke volumes to me now that I'm turning 23 later this month and you using that age to compare to 30 is both amazing and scary to think about, which I'm grateful to be thinking/feeling cause that just mean I still care for what I am and what I want to achieve. Thank you so much for this, Gabe. I needed this reminder now that I'm in the middle of my Finals week in Uni.

You're a YEAR younger than me? Omg, I haven't watched you for a long time since Jess got pregnant with her first child. Life happened. I got married too. It's so nice hearing from you. I can resonate with you when you said you are a serial starter and how you've been proud of your failures. I learned that at age 31. This year. It is SO relatable. I love this film concept. Keep going, and never give up. Set boundaries and FUCK what people think about you. It's YOUR life. Not theirs. Ride along with life and learn to accept what life throws at you. Some are negative, and some are positive. And that's okay. Always have a balance in life. *Congratulations* on Jess' s pregnancy. That's one of many accomplishments. Don't give up, and strive for the better. There's more to come. *Happy Birthday* and hopefully 30's cherish you and help you grow into the person you want to become and reach your goals.

i’m almost 30 and i resonate with what gabe said about feeling like im young and i have all the time in the world. i think i already have done so much for myself and my family. BUT, this made me realize that i lost that pursuit in me. I feel comfortable with what i have now, knowing that i have enough on my plate but it shouldn’t be. And gabe is right, i did stop taking risk after all my failures by settling for what i have in front of me. i lost my pursuit of planning ahead and of chasing what i really want in life. So to Gabe, thank you for this. I’m bawling my eyes and felt like i have to do more than what i am doing. I realized that I don’t get to be young like this again. I turned 25 this year. You inspired me to be more intentional with my choices. The happiness vs fulfillment thing really got me thinking, is what I do making me happy or am I doing things that will bring me fulfillment? Can't wait to see your movie!!

Thanks for sharing this. It makes sense to me as I am nearing 30. The fear of growing old, missing out, not achieving anything at a certain, these are just obstacles that we create in our own head. To each their own pace. To each their own way. Just don't give the power to the negative voices in your head. Don't listen because they're loud. Loudness is not the truth. Sometimes the voices in our heads are louder than any other because they're so close. Tune them down and believe the positive words that other say about you. The voices in our heads see things in their own way and it could be one dimensional at times. Listen to the voice of Truth. He knows best and your identity in Him will always shine. Therefore, "failure" won't be something to be ashamed of. It doesn't define us. You fail, you learn. And repeat. That's why they say practice makes perfect, because even life needs practice and experience and if you don't fail sometimes, how will you learn?

One of the best videos you’ve ever made! I feel the same way as you do about the failures and successes. I have been working on my KZbin channel over the years. And I can only see the failures. But when you look through the old videos compared to my most rest stuff I really see the difference. And also being 26 I can relate very much with this video! Let’s keep making great things and seeing how many times we can keep getting back up!

your music though is phenomenal. your song “what’s wrong with me” helped me through a season of anxiety and self-pity. i felt lost and hearing that song made me feel less alone.

I hear people say that your 20s are basically a time period where you get to be a proper teenager, you get to really learn about yourself under YOUR own supervision, and truly grow up. I'm turning 20 soon as you've recently turned 30, and I couldn't be happier to see you taking charge and wanting to be ambitious and create your own film. I'm inspired by you, and congratulations on this new beginning! Can't wait to see where this goes 🥳🥳

GABRIEL. We missed you. SO HAPPY to hear this vision is becoming a reality! Can’t wait for this film (and hopefully updates along the way)! Praying that you learn, grow, and accomplish all you dream of with this project. You’ve got this! 🎉 As someone who just turned 27, this speaks to me and is making me think about how I want to end my 20s. Here’s to doing the things we said we’d do… 🥂

This video couldn’t have come at a better time. Currently in my last finals of med school; it really sucks most times. The resistance and challenges feel impossible to push through at times. But all that matters is that I keep going, that I continue to do what’s hard. Thanks for this short encouragement that I needed to hear in my study break ✨👏🏼

I turned 30 this year as well. When you started snapping your fingers, it was like I was snapped into a different perspective. Time is ticking. One thing is contentment as well. What can we pursue for the eternal kingdom?
