What a nice, loving dog. He was so good getting his blood work drawn and getting micro chipped. Love Dr Tugay's lab where he can get the results read right there instead of sending to a lab for analysis. She how long and healthy the animals can be when they go see Dr Tugay. They are in the best of hands. I wish I had a doctor that caring.

He is a 70 lb pit bull in good appetite, runs the stairs and a month ago loudly announced an intruder and stayed by my side until the man dropped off my package and backed away from us. He is my last dog as I am elderly. I've had a lot of dogs and none of them are dangerous. Protective yes, vicious NO!

​@amsodoneworkingnow1978 pit bulls were bred to fight. They have a very muscular body and strong bite. If you get a pit bull from a breeding line of fighting dogs, the dog IS more likely to turn. That doesn't mean they will, but it increases the chances. All dogs who turn on their owners or on a child in the neighborhood do not have a bad owner. There are many stories of perfectly loving pit bulls who were raised in good homes who suddenly turn and kill or maim someone. It's from the aggressive breeding practices of illegal fighting rings. Misleading people and pretending that all dogs who bite or kill are from abusive homes gives false comfort to people and leaves them open to a nasty surprise if their dog turns on them or someone else. It happens all the time and we shouldn't be blaming owners. Over half of all dog attacks that result in death or hospitalization are from pit bulls. These are sobering numbers and I would advise anyone with small kids or elderly relatives in the home to always be careful regarding these dogs. They can and have turned after years of docile, loving behavior. It is genetic and not the owner in most cases. Please stop spreading misinformation that may get someone killed or disfigured for life.
