I own a Gondor army for the Games Workshop tabletop game, and my favourite thing about them is that the Fountain Guard (The winged guys) are fearless as long as you have a Gondorian hero on the battlefield. Pippin counts as a Gondorian hero. So yes, these elite troopers would refuse to flee if Pippin was hiding somewhere behind their lines. I will never not find that hilarious.

Yes although uebs is bigger armies and better graphics i've always preferred the movement mechanics of EFBS

Def want more LOTR stuff. The strategy and placing have a lot to do with the success. Getting flanked destroys an army, especially if they don't have any huge. Pikes/spears in front, swords for backup, and archers in the rear is how to win. Hope for good v evil battles soon

Very cool battle. It seems like Fantasy Battle might have better unit AI than UEBS?? Maybe the different unit AIs have basic tactics to prioritize and work together rather than just “mob rush” the enemy.

The AI in this game is kinda... weird. Units move as if they dont know where they are going and they ignore enemy units that are literally next to them.
