Take 1000 bets at odds of 2 (evens) you would break even at best minus exchange commission or sportsbook built in 5-10% margin. Having said that 500 bets would have been over priced and 500 under priced but over the 1000 bets the odds of 2 are correct. The key is not to get on bets that are over priced. If you do research you can easily find potential value bets.
