Rapinoe = best playmaker. Wambach = best finisher. No other contender. These two are just the best. The assist per game rate and goal per game rate of these two are simply unmatched. After Wambach retired, especially in the 2019 world cup, I can't tell you how many times I face-palmed and wished people finish those beautifully-placed balls from Pinoe. If Wambach was still there, Pinoe's assist stats would have been even crazier. I feel the team misses that finishing consistency from her.
