This is as good a rendition of "Nimrod" as anyone who loves music will ever hear. The blend is marvellous and the pedal Eb on the last chord was perfect. As a church choral conductor, I have arranged this for both the Kyrie and the Agnus Dei. Deeply moving in any setting: organ, full orchestra, choral, and now tuba/ euphonium -- a fitting tribute to all those who are serving ( or, tragically, who have served and been sacrificed) us, when our "leaders " quail in bunkers. How great! I played Euphonium all throughout high school and college, and I remember performing Nimrod fondly. Makes me want to brush the dust off of the horn again and play a tune or two. Also, I always said that choosing to play the baritone in the 6th grade was one of the best decisions I ever made! I loved the instrument and even more, the people I met in the following 12 years were simply lovely!
