Mind trying Champions of Norrath? I downloaded it but it tends to slowdown randomly(and play fine other times, slowdown happens in random bursts) and that made me think that the Cube just couldn't do PS2 games well so I never tried it. Could you try it and see if it gets better results? Also, what is the name of the multi-threaded setting in Graphics that you turned on? I didn't see the words "multi-threaded" for any of the settings, so Im not sure what to turn on.

That one had issues with neither on my phone , in advanced setting i had to enable hardware fixes ,enable partial target invalidation, disable partial source invalidation ,enable auto flush, estimate texture region..(maybe not all needed but it works perfect)

Hi, i am looking to buy rgcube or retroid 4+ for my retro needs. I'd like to have the device that plays most ps2 games well, and possibly 3ds and psvita. What sold me on rgcube was the layout that allows for dual screen , maling it great for nds and 3ds. But i heard it wont run most ps2 games as well as rp4+? Which one should i get then? I am more interested in ps2 tho, but the dual screen for nds and 3ds is amazing for rgcube

I have a question, I noticed that some games didn’t look all too stretched out (aside from the HUDS which don’t get stretched), like the kingdom hearts games, specifically KH2, did you turn on widescreen hacks? And if so- does it properly scale games to 1:1?

Unfortunately there’s not that much you can do about it’s performance beyond a couple tweaks. If it struggles to run it then it probably can’t. Remember that some emulators just don’t work perfectly on some handhelds.

I honestly felt the same while trying some games like shadow of colossus, tekken tag team. I was using stock os and default settings with vulkan on aethersx2, all I added was turning multi thread on in graphics settings and it boosted a lot of ps2 games.

Yes I was thinking about that too, I’m not an expert and don’t own any of these yet, but I saw your 556 video and all the need for speed were “playable” but here are “works well” how is that possible ? I have it and it is fabulous to have such a screen, especially for vertical games, 3ds and ds, but also for anything else, as you can use custom bezels which look cool. Don't worry about the aspect ratio, you can have 4:3, 3:2, 16:9 without problem, you don't have stretch the screen at all. The screen quality is great and games look sharp. I love it for gamecube and Dreamcast a lot
