Not really, I would put SAO higher because I have a lot of nostalgia and memories from it, but it's honestly not that great of an anime. Only the first season and the Gun Gale Online alternative were really any good. Alicilization seemed more childish and stupid, though I liked the idea the story wasn't great. The built up harem for Kirito also ruined it a bit. It seemed to incorporate too many different themes and ideas, while it definitely is doable, it seemed rushed in the end and the harem + sexualization wasn't all that necessary. Asuna getting sexually assaulted was meaningless. Her character also degraded as she became more dependent and weaker than before when she was more independent and strong by herself.

Not really. While it's an amazing anime, I feel like there are a lot more Romance animes that are evidently better than Horimiya. 12th Place is honestly a bit too good. For Horimiya, I enjoyed most of the episodes until the last few and when it drifted off from Hori and Miyamura towards Yuki, Tooru, and Sakura. It felt slow paced and changed the whole mood of the anime, introducing a more gloomy vibe which contrasts to the bright and wholesomeness the beginning of the anime had. While I enjoyed the character development, the few episodes with Yuki/Sakura/Tooru sort of messed up the tone of the show.
