It can be Final Sun Superman who ate the stars of his universe or Caveman Batman who is just a caveman, they’ll somehow beat everything in their own world. Literal bad ideas. But yeah damn they weren’t fun to read. The ‘I planned for you bringing in God to fight!’ stuff got old really really fast. Also there’s a Batwoman Who Laughs… and she has an infinity gauntlet from marvel (universe 6 or 7). She was in Doom Patrol I believe by Morrison? Haven’t read it yet but I fully believe that he could make her an actual interesting villain while simultaneously shitting on the whole concept.

Owlman is so much better as a character, The Batman Who Laughs was over hyped and the plot veered off, I feel like the writers weren't really sure what they even wanted to do with the Batman Dark Knights Metal storyline. Owlman is just a better foil, compared to what amounts to Joker with Batman's clothes in a "dark universe war".

The Batman who Laughs was great, but only for a short time. The writers made him REALLY overstay his welcome, which led to everyone noticing just how bad his character was when they had to try and flesh him out. If he was in Dark Knights Metal, and maybe Death Metal, and had extremely limited exposure (didn’t make the whole Blackest Knight bs happen, especially so soon after the introduction of his character), he might have been a far more liked character.

The reason Batman doesn't use guns IRL is because of the target audience's parents complaining, so the writers tried to give him a deep seated reason that involves his parents' deaths regarding why he refuses. Early Instalment weirdness Batman absolutely used to use guns, some of which were blatantly military grade like a mounted minigun turret.

This was so dope. The Dark Knights literally had their own ''Justice League'' in the Metal event. Him, The Drowned (Aquaman), The Dawnbreaker (Green Lantern), The Murder Machine (Cyborg), The Read Death (The Flash... That was brutal for Barry), The Devastator (Batman literally infects himself with Doomsday to stop an out-of-control Superman), the aforementioned Grim Night, and The Merciless (Batman with God Of War Aries' helmet after he slayed Wonder Woman)... Variant Comics does a good short thing on all of 'em... The shear INSANITY the other Batman witnessed to finally make him snap into The Batman Who Laughs. Also - DCeaced is for a take on a zombie virus, in the shape of Darkseid's Anti-life Equation is insane
