Hey! Im King Ragnar on the server (or was). Been busy with life. I built a lot on the server. Sorry I couldnt be on the tour to explain. Kattegat was my project for the newcommers, tho the first town got very crowed. I left it for no one ever came there to start building it up with me. The plains base/Island was my doning aswell. Found it while exploring and thought it was perfect for a farm. I got the Lox just a cross the Island on another small Island. To bad you didnt got time to show of my Private Island and the snowtown project i started after that. Im sure Tulkas can show it to you aswell :) I may come back at a later time. At the moment there is a lot of thing irl. / K R

I know I'm two years late, but Finland has an absolutely insane number of ponds, lakes and other water features, that's why it's so ingrained in their culture and personalities. Finland is a small country and yet they have 188,000 lakes in 338,485 square kilometres compared to the continental USA (where I am from) that has roughly 125,000 lakes in 8,080,464 square kilometres. Finland has nearly 50% more lakes despite being 24 times smaller than the contiguous United States.

Or maybe it's more realistic with friendly fire? Idk - random thought. :)

Cool fleshed out builds throughout the world. Though, about campfire spawn blocking I had previously done this and buried them, but after about 1 in-game day all of them broke, as I noticed the rocks used to build them appeared above ground
@JirocTheViking3 жыл бұрын
Yeah it does seem to be glitchy. Some people report them staying others them breaking. The basic wooden torch might be your best bet.
@lycosa15313 жыл бұрын
@@JirocTheViking Yup! I replaced them all with torches and put stone pillars over them so that any mobs outside of where I spawn blocked wouldn't aggro to them. Some areas I used the 1x1 wood floor to build in the trees and do a torch up there where the leaves hide it all

@@randylahey2660 @Tony Roofs are not the only way to prevent structures from turning "green". Most pieces will not take rain damage if placed on stone. I'm not saying this was done in all cases in this video, but there are methods for mitigating the rain damage. At 1:02:59, the platform on which the portals are place would take damage under normal conditions, but its in the Mistlands; where it doesn't rain. I hear where you're coming from Tony, I hate rain damage, too. However, there is some fun to be had, exploring creative ways to get around this mechanic.
