Hey Rich! This is easily my favorite comic book series. Risso's art gets better and better as Azzarello's story unfolds. I highly recommend you finish the whole book and hopefully share some of your favorite issues going forward.

My all time favourite story. The character development is so good and with so many characters too. Issue 1 is just the tip of the iceberg as the story gets more intense with higher stakes

I felt like it was a great set up and pretty tense for a first issue. It was so different than everything that I've read the last few weeks. It felt more real and maybe like a movie.

i just recently picked up vol 1-5 of the tpb. im halfway through vol 2 and just met cole. great stuff. i really love the writing and the art, sometimes i just sit and stare at the pages. love the art style so much.

most would never regret buying the trades or issues of this series,...risso is so good at shadow and his use of white space is to be commended. quite a run by this team,...certainly have to mention the colorist as well,....good palette choices ......

Risso has his own distinguishable style. I remember his work from argentinian anthologies like Fierro, around early nineties. His work was superior there; schedules I guess.
