Im normally bass fishing and like to watch bass fishing but I like watching fishing in general. You learn new things, new species new techniques. So mix it up is the best way to go about in my opinion. As long as you enjoy what you doing man. 🤙🎣 #FishOn

You could also bring a little clipboard and every time you catch a fish, you can make a note about it in the paper attached to your clipboard, so it makes you look even more "OFFICIAL".

Love your vids man! An idea for ya - try catching big fish on UL/BFS gears, this has been my go to method of fishing and I have landed giant salmon, pike and bass with a tiny 5ft UL rod. You get so much more thrill from the fights and save $$ while doing so. Don't know if it'd be possible in salt water but if you can pull it off, can't imagine how much fun it would be.

@FirstStateFishing, hey brother tighten drag all the way. Then do minimal turns and press button to let line fall. Once you loosen drag very little and hold button to let line fall be sure line falls slowly. If line falls as you press button and theres alittle back lash fix backlash then tighten drag. Be sure line comes off smooth and slowly. Once line comes off smooth and slow then keep brakes on 3. If youve lost some distance put breaks on 2. No less then 2. With drag adjusted as you press button for line to come off slow and smooth with no backlash adjust breaks to 2 setting you wont need your thumb and youll get no backlash. Plus, you wont have to use your thumb anymore. Make sure when you turn drag and press button to let line fall as ive said turn drag very small slow amounts. Then you should be good. 😊

Just a thought crank 3 to 4 seconds pause 2 seconds. Once you count 2 pop rod tip up then lower and reel as you lower back to 3 o'clock positiont. Then reel 3 to 4 seconds. Repeat over and over the whole way back. As you get shallower only pause 1 second pop up rod tip lower and reel and continue. 1 last thing you can do pull rod tip towards you as you reel 3 to 4 seconds. Pause 2 second let fall then raise rod tip and reel line as you lower rod tip back. More advanced way of using a chatterbait a crappie jig or offset hook with worm. 😊

There is a Shakespeare black panther avengers dock pole with reel that is excellent. Pretty much an ugly stick with a decent reel for $10. Biggest fish ive caught on it is a 10.5 lb channel cat. Good luck
