In this video I showcase some insane battles in the Great League Remix Cup featuring the 3 legendary Galarian birds. Whilst this is a theme team with obvious shared weaknesses, I was able to gain 100 ELO in 5 sets above expert rank, despite not necessarily playing really well.

It's the same as Regi & zap cannon. It genuinely triggers me when they go for the zap cannon when focus blast KOs & zap doesn't even come close. They just can't help themselves.

Delaying to let the Poison Jab register before sending the Close Combat at low health was quite the big brain play. Very skilled gameplay, and very instructive. QotD: Swampert. Even though it doesn't quite have the stats for the ML, it's typing and moveset is absolutely busted and I still see it in ML because about its only counters are flying Dragons and Zarude.

QOTD: It's definetely Dragonite since it got Superpower before it got Superpower though it was Swampert, and there's some other good ones like Snorlax, Haxorus, Machamp, Walrein, Buzzwole, Mew or Tapu Fini that are all great.

QOTD: my vote goes to melmetal. Near-perfect coverage, has a little bit of mystery-box with DIB / Flash Cannon, and the steel typing means it can usually take at least 1 if not 2 hits.

I’ve gotta say Lugia! It’s one of the bulkiest mons in the master league and can take almost any one move in the great and ultra league. That dragon tail in the great league is pretty oppressive as well.

QOTD - best pokemon overall usable in all 3 open leagues would be dragonite! And I run a triple wild charge team with mew with surf/Wild charge, dubwool with BS/WC and togedemaru with fell stinger /WC. Had so much fun. Would be able to sweep this team 😂

QOTD - Shadow Snorlax, Shadow Dragonite, Shadow Swampert, Shadow Dragontail Gyarados, Melmetal, Haxorus, Buzzwole, Excadrill, Golisopod, Chesnaught, Sylveyon, Togekiss, Shadow Magnazone, Shadow Lugia, Alolan Golem - All of these pokemon have some or the other play in the cup variants of Great league, Ultra League and Master league if you form a good team with them. Have used them before and they are quite fun

Encountered each pre master ball but the all ran after one throw, even excellent with gold razz/ultra ball. Now that I have a master ball they refuse to spawn for me at all😅 I mainly want Zapdos as it's always been my favorite mon and it newer form is cool. Like a chocobo from final fantasy VII

QOTD: Lugia Shadow Lugia is decent in GL, Lugia in UL is good because of the Swords of Justice, and Lugia is great in ML because of the abundance of Steel types that can tank the Aeroblast and the Dragon Tails. Go bag me if you want, I didn't want to say Dragonite or Swampert.

Qotd: probably an unusual choice, but easily swampert. No matter what league you use it in, its gonna put it work. With the flying buffs, grass types really aren't as common as they used to be. It's got great shield pressure and given shield advantage it will destroy anything in its path(not named altaria). It's easy to see why Jamie calls it the goat

Possibly yeah, but then some of the wins I wouldn't have necessarily KO'd certain Pokemon before they got to a move, so you win some & you lose some due to IVs.

coincidentally i ran the same team yesterday and actually gained 96 elo with it LOL. i saw a lot of galv and aurorus leads but still got through them. it performed way better than i thought! qotd: probably dragonite, it’s a super strong lead in gl/ul and a all-around good pick in masters
