It's awesome to see you two traveling to isolated countries like Greenland and showing us the real stuff! We love going to local grocery stores when we travel. It’s fun to find local products and learn what locals buy/consume. Considering how isolated Greenland is, $120/day for 2 people is actually not terrible. Look forward to seeing more Greenland videos!

This is the most "real" video I've seen of Greenland. Nuuk is so modern and the kids are cute and well-spoken. Such a fun video and entertaining video with interesting food and stunning scenery! And the best part is watching the hosts Sean and Nhi. You guys have the best personalities. I laughed when you said Boba and Bowl, Bowl and Boba, and the man with the finger "read this" is hilarious. You need a good sense of humor. I wanna go to Greenland now!!! 😀

I'm a Dane and I never went to Greenland! Nuuk is more "Danish" than I anticipated. I noticed every sign is written in Danish. I imagine it was easier for you to speak with the locals having the girl speak fluent Danish. I have to say that even though you went over $100 bucks it was worth it. I mean you’re on vacation and you just have to at times throw caution to the wind.

To be fair… I’m from Greenland and I can for sure say Nuuk is cheap. You should try your niche in North Greenland. You won’t survive the day for 100$

You missed the national museum! The richness and skill of all the items produced from mere bones and driftwood made me realize that our "primitive" ancestors was actually more skilled than the average person today, who is specialized in only few functions. When you see the tool the Inuk not only fought icebears with - but hunted them too - you can only gain a deep respect for this little hardy people whose ancestors has withstood so much. And the art and beauty crafted into every item on display. Do not cheat yourself from this experience. It is likely obe of the worlds smallest national museums, but it will not leave the smallest impression

Thanks for watching. Definitely will check out the national musuem the next time I'm in Nuuk. 👍

Hi Sean! Being part indigenous Hawaiian, did you feel a kinship with the indigenous people of Greenland?
@SeanKaleponi Жыл бұрын
Aloha Kevin!! Mahalo for watching and yes.. I did feel a kinship with the Inuit culture. I also respect Greenland since they still keep customs alive in the Inuit culture. Thanks for asking 🤙👍

@SeanKaleponi 🍲🍰🍵Hey Sean What's up? ❤🔥Some of the food looked very unique, interesting and delicious. ❤🔥Definitely would like to try some. What shocked me was hardly any of the people there look Danish/European, I would never think I was in a European country. Almost everyone looks Asian....it looks like you were in one of the Asian countries. I was assuming most everyone there was going to have blonde hair, but it's the complete opposite.🎆🎇🎆
@SeanKaleponi Жыл бұрын
Aloha Blaze... Mahalo for watching and yes.. it's been adopted by Denmark so there is a Danish concept but Greenlanders do look Asian and I think they come from the Mongolian and Inuit tries thousands of years back. And yes.. it's the opposite. A lot of Inuits and the Tribe culture is still strong.👍🤙

I think the man's finger had "Read this" tattooed on his middle finger. I also think Sean is open minded and loves to display ppl in his videos. I'm sure if the man did a sexual gesture or a killing gesture, he wouldn't put it in his video.

little clarification: we have one of the most complex relationships with the european union and got one of the most if not the most asterix on the EU mentions because we are actually not really affiliated with the EU while Denmark is. Denmark dont own Greenland per se but we are a part of the Danish kingdom.
