Pro tip: instead of putting a trap on the floor build a wall and put the trap on the wall: followed by a ramp to conceal said trap. Traps do go through your ramps now. You're welcome.

Spork right. Your ramp will indeed block a spike trap or should. However. If I have a wall and trap on it. Then put my ramp against it and an enemy is to go up my ramp the trap will ignore the ramp as it is mine and hit the enemy. But what you are describing will block my trap. If that makes sense

Yeah so what I do is I outplay the player in a build fight, I trap the guy in a box and put traps on the walls I concealed him in including a ramp to keep him in there so hemdoesnt jump. And it's just an easy kill, all you need are quick builds, maybe some edits, and a trap or more..

1. if u place a floor under the map, u can put a trap on it and make a completely invisible trap (also unbreakable) 2. when a teammate drops from the bus, the sound is louder than other player's 3. a grey tack can do up to 125 hp (its actually a pretty good gun) 4. If your doing an emote, your hitbox will move according to the emote, so you could dodge a bullet just by dancing. 5. If you drop and the destination is too far away, spam the toggle between diving and gliding and you will go much farther than just gliding. 6. If you enable color blind mode in settings, it can make it much easier to see players on screen. 7. A headshot with a revolver will most likely be a oneshot. 8. The storm does increasingly more damage to players as the round progresses. 9. If you have a skin with lights (omega / astronaut) you will be spotted MUCH more easily 10. If you get hit by a sticky grenade and the enemy is nearby, run at them with the sticky on you and the explosion will damage them too 11. If you make it out of the storm with a teammate and your health is VERY low, get knocked by the storm and let your teammate revive you, your health will be reset to 30 after the revive 12. If you launchpad with an anti-gravity crystal, you will go much higher

2/3 - Tips 12:46 | Use the medkits - If you’re at 75hp and don’t have a campfire, just eat it up and get to 100hp. 12:53 | Double ramp - building up a hill, or in the middle of a build fight, hold your cursor in the middle for a little bit of extra protection. This allows you to rotate and get even faster on top of the other player. 13:10 | Dealing with miniguns and LMGs - If they’re spamming, try to keep up with your ramp and wall until you see a good moment to strike. If you feel like its getting too much, run backwards while spamming walls to get some range on them. LMG and Minigun suck major balls on range. 13:23 | Rebind weapon slots - Rebinding everything is a hazzle, takes time to get used to - but in the end it’s worth the fights you’ll win. 13:35 | Let them outbuild themselves - Sometimes people focus so much on building high and forgot they started with a ramp, hop down and make them taste the fall damage. 13:43 | Stacks of wood - The yellow planks give a butload of wood, they are especially useful to farm in Tilted Towers. 13:50 | Safety net - Building ramps up a mountain side will secure your ramp, if the bottom of the ramp is broken, you’re still good to go. 14:00 | Double drop - The drops sometimes come in 2s, they can even land right next to each other. 14:05 | Call direction - In front of me is not one, 50, north, south etc is the way to do it. 14:12 | Understand in front me callouts - Look at their arrow on the minimap incase they call out in front of them. 14:18 | Golden Scar spray - the golden Scar is just a nut and a half when it comes to spraying, even on range. 14:24 | Don’t be lazy - If you’re gonna build, build it safe. 14:33 | Scar burns walls - Just keep spraying, some bullets are bound to go through. 14:40 | Impulse your butt - This can save you get into the safe zone and avoid death. 14:48 | Edit drop - Many times in build battles, you can shorten the fight by editing, usually you catch guys off guard if you edit down into their face. 14:58 | Never give up - You often see people just give up on life, panic and jump around like a crazy person if they don’t get a good weapon. Keep fighting, keep trying to get the upper hand. 15:17 | First shot accuracy - When shooting on range, wait for the first shot accuracy and land those nasty headshots. 15:25 | Don’t overcomplicate a fight - When you get the hang of building, people tend to build a fortress as soon as they engage a fight. Sometimes, just drop for the fight and do the unexpected. 15:43 | Piles of brick - These give a decent amount of brick. 15:49 | Risky easy high ground - One of the easiest way to get highground from another player on top of you, is to ramp far out, rotate 180 and continue upwards. This is risky, but by far the easiest way for an average builder. 16:00 | Look around you - If you’re running in a straight line, you don’t get much information - looking around you as you go can save your butt. 16:09 | Be a good teammate - If you’re playing duos or squads, don’t be a vacuum. Share the grease - you’ll most likely have a higher chance of winning by helping one another. 16:16 | Rocket launch - Takes some practise, but is a fun way to send teammates flying - also to their death. 16:25 | Using stuff - You do not have to let go of your sprint and use key as you’re running towards an apple, or any usable object. Simple hold E and Sprint as you’re moving there. 16:33 | Grenade launcher - Use the environment to bounce your grenades, you can also shoot it from a 1 by 1 without being visible to the enemy due to the huge drop. 16:48 | No mats - You do not get materials from hitting player built structures. 16:54 | Pickaxe structure damage - You deal half the damage to player built structures. While weapons deal the same damage to both.

My tip: When your ramping to get the high ground in battle, and your opponent is at an angle where they can’t see you, double ramp up above you, edit it so it looks like you dropped down, fake that and build a bunker up to the side behind your previous builds and use the cone trick so you have high ground and can heal up.

Switching from a pickaxe swing to a weapon is instant. The majority of weapons will have a faster fire rate when switching between them even if they are not the same gun. They also share the same rhythm. Don't underestimate gray weapons. A gray AR will perform better than a golden burst based on the situation. Most buildings are identical to others in other landing spots, and so are the chest spawns. As such if you master Retail Row you'll be pretty much ready to dominate Salty Springs as well. The smgs are a better alternative to using 2 shotguns, if your aim is not great you can melt walls very quickly using an smg and seal the deal using a tactical. Also ammo for them is always easy to find. Mini shields are the top priority in meds due to the amount you can carry (10) at a time and the rate in which you can consume them. You can get 50 shield from them before you can finish getting 15hp from a bandage

Here's one I have. It is always risky when sliding down a large, steepish hill. If you have any materials, always build floors/platforms when sliding down the hill. It's a lot safer.

One u missed: if u need materials and r in a hurry then hold ur pickaxe out as u r running by a tree or whatever and when u r next to it jump, hit it and then switch to a weapon before landing and look in the direction u we’re going. Gives u a little bit of extra materials and it doesn’t take any time but remember to switch to a weapon before landing

Another tip/something that i like to do, is use my Metal/Bricks in fights in early game (like 1x1's) and when i engage in Build fights, i use my wood cause its harder to break!

Also another tip, when crossing loot lake, build two stairs/ramps, then double jump (you will not get ''tired/slowed down'' and then build another 2 ramps and jump twice again! I don't know if you understand what i mean, but someone posted a video on this! really help full, save u 50%

ImBidou No thats actually not what you should do , you should Always always always use your wood if you have it, save your metal and brick because usually when you will kill an enemy they will have loads of wood and no metal and brick. So if you kill a guy and you sill have all your wood because you didnt use it then you wont get much mats because people mine wood more than any other material

I highly recommend this: (Season 7) (Xbox) (Normal Controller) Turbo Building On Edit is Y Pickaxe is Dpad Right Reset is LB Confirm is Y Wall Is RT Stair is LT Floor LB/RB (your choice) Pyramid LB/RB (your choice but has to be diff. To the floor.) I am so good at building with this. Also editing. Sensitivity: X Sensitivity - 70-80 (same with Y sensitivity) Targeting Sensitivity: 18- 30 (idk but recommended) Scope: Same with Targeting. Try it out and tell me if it was helpful! Edit: This is the most likes i’ve gotten!

Dont get nervous in fights. If you get nervous, your hands shake which leads to you missing shots. Also, do the ramp to wall strategy ALL THE TIME. Even if you are up against a default. Like he said, they can always be fake defaults, and for pros, you should do the floor ramp wall if you can. Also, impulse + bouncers = blasting SOOOOOOOO FAR!!! (it is SO fun!!!)

When you are farming materials you should move around because you might get sniped if you stay in 1 spot and hit the circles of the material and you will het extra materials !
