$100 HAWKER FOOD CHALLENGE! | Eating the entire ABC Brickwork Hawker Centre! | Singapore Street Food

For this episode, we did an Entire Hawker Centre Food Challenge! We went back to ABC Brickworks, previously featured in our Wow Wow West video. Joining us for this episode is Thomas (@heythomask), a former professional gamer and now full-time content creator for Wah!Banana. The main reason for this idea is to help our deeply afflicted hawker industry - which forms the foundation of Singapore’s food culture - during these exceptionally trying times, particularly considering the constant start-stop implementation of restrictions.

7. Naan with Chicken Tikka Masala - Sheikh Indian Pakistan Food
8. Chicken Rice x 2 - Tong Fong Fatt
9. Pan Fried Dumplings - Dong Ji La Mian Xiao Long Bao
10. Chilli Oil Dumplings - Dong Ji La Mian Xiao Long Bao
11. Thunder Rice - Lin Da Ma Thunder Rice
12. Pao Fan - Hong Sheng Fish Soup
13. Rojak - ABC Ngoh Hiang Prawn Fritters
14. Assorted Curry Puffs - Mohd Zaid Kueh Mueh
We underestimated the food and realised we actually purchased a formidable amount. Regardless, we pushed and Thomas grinded past his limit. Even so, we were not able to complete this challenge but only a small amount was leftover. The standout dishes would be the Char Siew Noodles, Chicken Rice and Carrot Cake. The food from Wow Wow West was still in their signature giant portions and of acceptable quality.
Please do help out F&B businesses as much as possible. It is now commonplace to see hawker centres being ghost towns with only shuttered stores in sight.
