For the guys who are going for test: I HAVE FAILED TWO TIMES, and I was fed up I almost give up to go for test cause I thought I’m a good driver especially when u have driving experience. But the truth it’s not about assessors or luck. JUST LEARN THE RULES FOLLOW THE RULES AND MOST IMPORTANTLY PRACTICE PRACTICE PRACTICE, I have pumped the fuels many times to do practice and 3rd time I have did the practical test with my car (after I practiced many times) Passes successfully. My advice to the guys who are going to do exam. 1. Never Panic or Hesitate 2. Believe that you are best driver in the world 3. Never speed up 4. Never compare with experience driver 5. Just follow the rules 6. Don’t care about other drivers just be calm and slow and drive 7. PRACTICE PRACTICE PRACTICE My best wishes to the guys who are going to do the exam. Remember if you fail never give up if you pass never forget the mistakes that you have done . All the very best, I’m pretty sure that you will pass the test, all the success will come to you Practice well. God Bless You always. Drive safely!

Passed my test in Mooroolbark, Vic yesterday. Got picked up for going a few km/h over the speed limit. In Victoria if you go less than 5km/h over the speed limit and go back below within 5 seconds it is only recorded as a minor error and the test goes on. Also, test instructor said that I changed lane into a dangerously small gap, but my driving instructor disagreed. Saying that while the gap was small, I had observed a safe gap to change into. Bit of a late bloomer getting my licence at 24. But whether you getit first try, or it takes you five. Don't give up, with enough practice and with the right approach, you can do it. If there were any tips I would give. 1. Practice, practice a lot. By the time you go for your driving test, driving should feel like second nature. 2. Trust yourself. Most people are nervous going into the test, myself included. Do your best to reign in those nerves and drive CONFIDENTLY like you've likely done 100's of times before. 3. Learn the road rules and follow them. Practice using them in your everyday driving, so you don't even have to think about it come test time. 4. if possible, have an instructor do mock tests for you in the local area on the known test routes. I was lucky enough to have my driving instructor go through my exact test route in the lesson immediately before the test. This helped calm my nerves somewhat. While that exact scenario is unlikely to happen to you, if you have your driving instructor take you through the known routes in the weeks leading up to the test, you are likely to have decent knowledge of every possible route come test day. 5. Listen to and verbally acknowledge all instructions form the test instructor. This just lets them know you are listening to them. 6. Don't be afraid to ask the test instructor questions if you missed one of their instructions. In my test there were a few turns where it wasn't quite clear to me what I needed to do, the instructor is more than happy to repeat instructions if you ask them. 7. BE PATIENT. Don't let other road users pressure you into making bad decisions. Make the safe decision, you aren't being critiqued on how fast you complete the test, but you are being critiqued on how safely you complete it. Best of luck to everyone who is going for their test!! I believe in you! :)

Hi, your tips were super helpful. I was just wondering if any of the test routes had the triple roundabout in it? And how do I tackle that? As I am most nervous about that. I also have my test in Moroolbark next week and I am quite nervous about it. Thanks!
@jordanchaq2 жыл бұрын
@@Serutnevda Hi! I did have to go through the 5 ways roundabout that you mention. I learned to drive in that area, so the roundabout became quite simple for me, but I can see how it would be intimidating if you haven't driven it before. The number one tip I would have in approaching that round about is to approach it as you would any other roundabout. Simply give way to your right. When you reach the next roundabout, do the same thing. If you're able to, have someone take you through the area so you can become comfortable with the roundabout, so you don't even have to think about it once you get to your test. Good luck!

Yet it's easily inferred by what Japanese people mean

Some of the rules in the driving test is so unreasonable. Like, do the people who write these actually drive on our roads? I'm pretty sure if you take both hands off the steering wheel when stopped at lights, you'll fail, but everyone does that, and how is it dangerous?! In QLD there is a 0 tolerance policy for going over the speed limit, but you get away with not indicating five times? I swear, these rules are made up by weird people who get off to failing young children so they can pay another two or three times and then pass even though they were good drivers from the beginning. I've got my test at the end of next January, I think I'm driving fine, I've got my 100 hours and my mum and dad believe that I am safe and aware enough on the roads, and my driving instructor thinks I'm good too, not once have my parents had to pull the handbrake on me or anything like that, same as my instructor.
@SweetPeachannel6 жыл бұрын
I am totally agree mate, during the driving test you need to do what are on "log book". Once you get your licence you can drive your own way. I know it's ridiculous but the video shows the tips how to pass the driving test. Driving test & lesson cost are expensive that's why I give the tips so people wouldn't spend to much money for it.
@AA-hd9cy6 жыл бұрын
This comment is so wrong in many ways. It's a driving test; you have to try and be perfect to reduce hazards on the road and so that the instructors know that you're a safe driver. After you complete the test you can do whatever you like, but until then, you need to comply with the road rules. Having both hands off the wheel at the lights can be a hazard, as it shows that you do not have control of your car. And i'm pretty sure if you fail to indicate they will penalize you for that... even in a car park.
@mp49865 жыл бұрын
The driving test has nothing to do with teaching you to actually drive. Sadly, in Australia people learn to drive properly by experience. Hopefully, without too many crashes in between.
