That boat near Borough Market (The Golden Hinde) isn't 500 years old! It's a replica that was built in Devon in the mid-1970s. My parents took me to see it being built when we were on holiday in the area.

The 40 acres of garden at Buckingham Palace is the largest private garden in central London, but not in London. Remember that just London covers over 606 square miles (the City of London is just 1.12 square miles and the rest of London is made up of the 32 London boroughs - for example Buckingham Palace is in one of the London boroughs called the City of Westminster). If you include the hinterland or metropolitan area outside London it covers more than 1,000 square miles.

You are allowed to film in England anywhere that is considered a public space. Private establishments have their own rules. Skip the London Eye, overpriced tourist trap. Best views of London can be found at Westminster Cathedral. You have to climb a lot of stairs. Get off @ Victoria Station. Don't forget to get a photo of "Little Ben"

Hey David, you may want to apologize to that barber, saying that you were scammed. Bloake cut, shaved, cleansed, masqued, moisturized, misted, massaged, for over forty five minutes, as per you. You even commented on the great job that he did. Forty-five quid is one pound per minute, for superb service. What do you expect mate, slave labour? Love your vlog, yet it appears that you may have faltered here. The gentleman deserves an apology.
@Davidsbeenhere10 ай бұрын
hey there thank you, but I respectfully disagree for several reasons. I came in for a quick service and we had a pre agreed upon price/time/service level. He pointed to the price of the service and we agreed beforehand. It was his own choice to upsell me without permission. Its clear that ending the service mid stream like that would have been quite rude and to do so would have been quite difficult. I was put in an awkward situation. I'm not sure if you worked in the service industry before, but I have, and if somebody upsells you like a waiter giving you a top shelf shot of whiskey vs the one you asked for and then charges you, its not right or ethical. I really do appreciate your support and comment but respectfully you can't upcharge somebody and give them something they didn't ask for, then charge them. That is basically scamming somebody or a bait and switch. I won't be apologizing and I stand by my position here. Have a great week regardless and thank you for sharing your concern.

IMPHO, London & it's food scene, if it weren't for the amazing ethnic diversity & their superb cuisines, would be incredibly "plain/boring" food wise. The many varying ethnic groups abound, have certainly "added" greatly, to the amazing array of colourful & very tasty food/beverages! We spent 3 years there between the 80s & 90s & we always ate @ the awesome Caribbean, amazing South Asian & E & SE Asian restaurants & food stalls, etc;. We love our food very tasty & mildly spicy, so these foods truly helped to save us. lol Multiculturalism is a very good thing & it's a great way of adding superb joy & great flavour, to a rather boring & bleak environment. Thank you for sharing & Peace✌

I appreciate the fact that places like the west have immigrants, what i do not appreciate are immigrants who talk crap about westerners while living in PEACE and prosperity in a western country. The Jamaican guy who said there were Jamaicans who were “indoctrinated in loving the queen” is interesting statement. Obviously ppl come to the west from countries that aren’t doing so well so always keep that in mind, immigrants have access to things in the west that their own motherland doesn’t give them.
@Davidsbeenhere10 ай бұрын
Respectfully, that is my real life friend Josh, and he's BORN and RAISED in London. 100% English. So that is reflecting your own bias, since he states he's born in London in the first few sentences. Also respectfully, Jamaica is a Commonwealth nation, and they were historically subjugated by British Colonial Rule for a long time (300 years until the 1960's! Can you imagine being a British Colony in the 20th century?), and not by choice. So regardless of what you think about the Royal Family, it is a fact that a lot of the economic hardships suffered in Commonwealth countries is due to a legacy of colonialism, which is very prominent in the Caribbean. You'll find a lot of mixed feelings across the Commonwealth nations about the Royal Family, its definitely not uncommon. Therefore, considering all of those facts, his comments make perfect sense.

@@Davidsbeenhere I understand, but thats like throwing out the baby with the bath water. My parents immigrated from India which was under British control as well, I’m not agreeing with SOME things that were done, but if it weren’t for the British influence on India it wouldn’t be the country it is trying to become. They brought the railroad system, education and other things that created an economic situation that helped the ppl can enjoy what they have now. What Im talking about is there needs to be balance on subject. There are two sides to every story and EVERY civilization has had good and bad. I am not a fan of the one sidedness nor am and I fan of making white Europeans as evil people that are the only racist or enslaving people. They are not and that conversation needs to make light as well. I still enjoy your videos I think you do a great job and I appreciate your opinion. All im saying is that there is more, most ppl in the world are flocking to Western countries due to the fact that it has somewhat the last remnants of freedom and hope, and Immigrants of all ppl should understand that. Thank you and this is all in peace and love!
