For the survival show... It was a wild time. The show was originally girl group vs boy group. Who would JYPE put their money and time into for debuting? So they started recording stuff with both the boy group and the girl group. Then, they started advertising the survival show called Stray Kids. Then, they released the Stray Kids "Hellevator" song BEFORE the survival show ever aired with the group already named Stray Kids. So, we already KNEW which group would be winning in the show and that there should have been 9 members in the group, just like in the "Hellevator" MV. Then, the epidodes started airing. They started showing all the pre-recorded stuff with both groups. We watched them decide on the boy group and we watched them go through the challenges. We watched them make "Hellevator" on the show. It was during that period that Bang Chan came up with the group name Stray Kids. (So you can tell all of this was still the pre-recorded stuff because the Stray Kid "Hellevator" was already released to the public weeks before this aired.) So then, the show went into elimination mode. Basically... Was everyone that Chan picked good enough to debut together or would someone need to go to make the group stronger? That is when the risk of elimination started and JYPE started eliminating people. This caused A LOT of attention on the show and SKZ. Then, he had "a change of heart" and brought Lee Know and Felix back... but only if SKZ could prove that they should be in the group. That is when the live voting started... Who would debut? All 9 or just 7? People PAID money to vote for thier choice by text. And, the votes came in that all 9 should debut. But, here's the thing... JYPE had hyped the whole group up and released the MV. They had already gotten the public to want the WHOLE group together. They already had fans dedicated to Stray Kids. So of course, fans were going to vote the whole group be together as 9 for debut.... just like the MV had them. Basically, JYPE had a brillant business plan. They already decided SKZ was going to debut. They purposefully got fans invested into Stray Kids BEFORE fans even knew who they really were (using "Hellevator"). Then, they treated them horribly on the show, so fans would feel even more invested in wanting them to succeed. It basically made SKZ have a loyal following before they even became idols. It was a great business strategy for JYPE and it worked. The survival show was heavily watched and the live shows were packed. JYPE stocks even went up in value. The downside of the whole thing was that Stray Kids really went through all those hardships that were on the show. All their emotions and suffering were real. They didn't know the whole story... "the big picture" that they were a part of. To them, all of that was real. They REALLY went through all those things. That is why a lot of Stays have a love/hate relationship with the survival show... we love that it gave us SKZ, but we hate what they went through.

31:34 Before Stray Kids debuted, there was this show, Lee Know and Felix were eliminated, normally they were going to debut without Felix and Lee Know, but jyp got so many bad reviews for ditching felix and lino so they brought them backk😭😭. 10:10 they already knew it. this was after twice won an award and the other idols were leaving the stage but twice asked skz to stay with them. 12:29 it's Again & Again the original song is by 2pm :) 24:09 is skz's song 극과 극(N/S). 25:40 chan used to train with twice and twice are their seniors. twice debuted in 2015 while skz debuted in 2018. 27:06 in the former clip (the kingdom one) it was god's menu x ddu-du ddu-du by blackpink and the second clip is just bp's song. god's ddu-du ddu-du is the gordon ramsay song you're referring to. 29:03 that's" king of masked singer" so the audience doesn't know who's singing. 29:43 omg yes I used to watch chowder!! 32:22 the song is "she is" by clazziquai. it's an iconic song from the drama "my lovely sam soon". 34:36 the phrase "maknae on top" is common in kpop but the song is i.n's featuring chan and changbin. 36:52 vma is the MTV video music awards. 37:49 the song is psycho by red velvet. hyunjin, bomin (golden child), sanha (astro) and daehwi (ab6ix) performed it together. highly recommend looking up their performance of it, they're all amazing. 39:25 you definitely should react to hellevator!!! it's their pre-debut song and it is a masterpiece! great video!! microphone & water

microphone 🤣 Water Also 13:20 yes, while Han will shamelessly try to kiss all of the the members he will also 100% back away when Felix goes to return it because Felix will not shy away and will most likely actually kiss him back. 27:14 they did a mashup of God's Menu and BlackPink's Ddu-ddu-ddu-ddu, so it became God's Ddu-ddu-ddu-ddu for Kingdom and they changed up some of their God's Menu lyrics 28:41 Changbin, Han and Seungmin all participated in a show called King of the Masked SInger. That was Changbin's mask for the show. He did a cover of Tomorrow that I absolutely adore, and it's what made me fall in love with his singing voice. 31:29 Stray Kids did a survival show called Stray Kids pre-debut to see if they were ready to debut, both Lee Know and Felix got eliminated but eventually JYP brought them back and they debuted all together. They were all highly emotional when Lee Know and Felix got eliminated and then when they were brought back 34:31 Maknae on Top is literally I.N's song. Chan gifted it to him for his birthday and Chan and Changbin were featured on the track with I.N. They have a music video for it on their channel. You may have to google the English lyrics for it cause there's no subtitles. 34:57 Red Lights is a must to react to! It's part of their Unit songs. Bang Chan & Hyunjin did Red Lights, Lee Know, Changbin & Felix did Surfin', and Han, Seungmin and I.N did Gone Away. They all have different vibes to them and they all have videos for them. They even filmed how they came up with each concept and kind of a behind the scenes called Howl in Harmony on their channel that's worth a watch even if you don't react to the videos, it gives you their thought processes and how they all reacted to each other's songs. 36:36 the audio in the building cut out right when they announced Stray Kids won their VMA so they didn't hear their name announced, so they were genuinely shocked. (VMA stands for Video Music Awards and it's put on by MTV here in the USA) 38:57 Love Poem from Kingdom Ledgendary War where Stray Kids teamed up with Ateez and BTOB to form the Mayfly unit! ICONIC!!! 39:26 Pre-debut song 'Hellevator'. They were tasked on the Survival show to create a song from scratch, record it, create the dance, and do a video shoot. Still a banger to this day, although they have re-recorded it as an OT8 version.

stray kids survival show is called stray kids? its about chan choosing the members and forming the group. jyp "temporarily" eliminated felix and lee know. skz produced a lot of their old songs on that show. the other one you asked about is kingdom which is also a good watch. both give you snippets into how hard these guys work.

Twice debuted in 2015 ! So while they debuted , some of the skz members were trainees ! and an interesting fact is that Chan is the closest member to them , and while they were on a strict diet , he secretly brought them food and participated in the like ooh ahh MV ! and even though he is friends with all the members , he is closest to Sana ! ( you might wonder why I know these things , and it's definitely because I've seen almost all of twice's interactions with skz LOL )

My friend went to a stray kids concert when was little like 8 or 7 she’s also been to China, Hong Kong, Japan, Tokyo and the one that made me have a mental breakdown was that she’s also been to Australia and she went to Disney land in all of them like why did she not kidnap me and take me with her 😭 edit: and the elimination thing was a survival show for their debut and Lee know and Felix got eliminated which meant they weren’t going to debut but the rest would the reason they still debuted I don’t know really you can search up stray kids survival show and you’ll pls do a reaction on it

So Stray Kids were picked by Bang Chan since he had been a trainee for 7 years JYP trusted his judgment and allowed him to form a project group with 9 members that went on to become Stray Kids. In the reality show Stray Kids JYP warned the group that they might not all debut together if he felt individual members were not performing to the company’s expectations. Lee Know then Felix were both eliminated but JYP decided to let them comeback for the groups stage performance and let the audience decide if Stray Kids would debut as a team of 7 or a team of 9. And as they say the rest is history. The reason JYP gave Lee Know and Felix a chance to perform with the group was he said that he noticed that when they were eliminated it affected the group dynamic so he wanted to see what the public wanted and would honor the decision of the audience.

the 4th, 5th, 70, 71, 86th one were from the skz survival show 26th on was from kingdom legendary war and the song is called wolfgang also they announced that they're going on world tour this year but they havnt announced the dates or where they're going yet so they might be going to the UK this year/next year! twice debuted about 3 years before skz but Chan (and the other members too probs) are close friends with them Makne of top and i hate to admit by bangchan are songs on the skz replay album you should def check it out beacuse Han also has a ton of good songs on that album!
