பேட்டரி கன்வெர்ஷன் வெறும் ரூ 42000 என்கிறார். எத்தனை வருடத்திற்கு ஒரு முறை பேட்டரி மாற்ற வேண்டும். உச்சபட்சமாக 2500 ரூ லிருந்து 3000ரூ க்கு பெட்ரோல் போடுவோம். அப்படிப் பார்த்தாலும் வருடம் 36000 ரூபாய் தான் வருகிறது. EV தீப்பிடிக்கும் செய்திகளையும் அடிக்கடி பார்க்கிறோம். பயமாகத்தான் இருக்கிறது.

If you are pointing hands on the electricity which is used to charge the vehicle yes we can use alternative source from renewable energy from solar panels as well but definitely EV doesn't do any emission on the roads as such an ICE Vehicle

38000 for conversion. 38000/100 petrol cost = 380 liters of petrol. 380 x 40 (avg milage) = 15200 kms of bike drive. Converting to an electric bike investment will be covered after 15000km. Does it worth?

Your calculation is right.. but look it in other way.. if I travel 100km every day.. I will run 15000 kilometer in 5 months.. If I get one year warranty for the battery, my remaining 7 months is effectively free travel.. which is to the total of 21000km.. these are rough calculations but you get the idea.. These things are primarily aimed at people who travel everyday within city limits like the gig workers and delivery personnel.. it is very good value to them but not for everyone at this moment without any government subsidy..
