It’s that exactly! It’s the warmth and cosyness along with the simplicity of the graphics. Everything is clean and brushed, which in the complex worlds of later games it is harder to achieve! When they arrive and Snape catches them, there is a peaceful nature to it and perfect lighting as the night sky meets the warm glow of the windows. Also the music is second to none.

I played HP2 on PC, and I cant believe PS2 version is better, not only in how the history of the game is developed, but also the graphics are better. And the PC version is great too.

Game looks like everything that this port of Chamber of Secrets is cranked up to eleven with gameplay elements for the first time in 18 years (since Prisoner on consoles) returning to forefront (day and night cycles with things to do on each one, duelling now more prominent Spell Buttons mappable to face buttons now with a quick select).
