The ceaseless expanse doesn’t specify that it needs to be your cards, meaning that it might discount really quickly as well because of your opponent

Around turn seven, there will have been 20 cards naturally drawn between both players. Say half of those are minions or spells that summon them, that's 10 cards played and 10 minions destroyed. The rest are spells, for another 10 played and a total of 50. This is an extremely low estimate that assumes both players play little more than a single card per turn, don't discover extra cards, don't draw extra cards, don't have reborn minions or deathrattles that summon more minions, don't use cards that make big boards by themselves, don't use drinks, cast when drawn effects, return to hand effects... Ultimately it depends how fast the meta is, but I wouldn't write it off as quickly as Regis did either.

I mean, I don't think the original races will get tags. They're just neutral flavor tags tbh. I think Draenai are different because the Eredar all either became Demons or Draenai, and we already got Demons, so screw it, let's get Draenai, who I'd say are like "Angels", but space.

Also, no, draenei for Hearthstone are basically an Angel equivalent; from a celestial world, they are a mirror to the more Demonic characters, they have often "Holy" effects, and the most prolific of them have gone in "Holy" classes (Yrel, Velen). Idk about the entire context of WoW, but Angel's = Draenei for Hearthstone.

If DK has draenei support at decent levels, then Velen plus that card that destroys all minions and brings them back with reborn might get kinda nutty since he could technically trigger twice and just cause absolute insanity? That being said, pretty excited about this new set, lots of cards that look pretty fun to play with, and seems like a decent set to re-establish HS alongside all the players coming back from China.

You didn't mention it but Xor'toth the DH card is EXTREMELY interesting for board bouncing effects or anything that doubles battlecries or doubles cards in hand. 5 to all is pretty solid, but hitting 15 to all is devastating or game winning

Is it just me, or is the phrasing on Xor'toth weird? Like, if it just adds one star to each side of your hand that then collide to deal 5 damage to all enemies, why does it say it adds.... *two* Stars to *both* sides of your hand? Like, is that a phrasing error in the reveal one? Because, based on how it's described in this video, it literally does not add two starts to both sides of your hand. It adds two starts to your hand total, one on each side?

I finally saved up for the mini set and we're already getting another expansion wtf. I hope burgle rogue won't have to craft new legendaries because that will be big oof unless I get really lucky. I wish it could have been a Vulpera-themed expansion for particularly obvious reasons, but I gotta say I'm pleasantly surprised. Love seeing Spellburst as a keyword again, and I'm already in despairge seeing the new druid and warlock cards. Maybe we'll see some extra burgle rogue support this time.

The Ceaseless Expanse needs a rework already 100 is too high should be something more reasonable like 69, and 15/15 so boring needs a nice defensive stat line like 4/20. I think a 69 4/20 seems much more "balanced".

You said it's the first theme since TITANS that you've really been interested in. I feel the exact same way. These most recent 2 hearthstone years have mostly been big misses theme-wise. Honestly for Archimonde I don't think you even need to rely on discover effects. You could instead rely on the demons you've summoned through deathrattles, such as the 4/6 taunt knights left behind by Wretched Queen, the 5/5 lifesteal demon left behind by Enhanced Dreadlord, or perhaps the 6/6 taunt imp left behind by Sacrificial Imp.

Just looking at extra Demon effects we have currently (because I'm not going to look for any leaks), all we have Demonic Studies and Demonic Dynamics, so that means there must be more in the set (Relentless Wrathguard notwithstanding)

So both players draw at least one card and are encuraged to play at least one card so ther hand do not run full. If we susspect at least 50% minions (summond or played) that will get destroyed sooner or later we can guess that with each player taking there turn a minimum of around 5 Mana reduction. At least as the absolut bottem line. I would guess with card draw, bord summons and generatet cards 7-8 is more realistc. 100 Mana is likely to slow if you not play against with or agaisnt a high draw aggro deck. My initial feel for a card like this would be more around 70 Mana. Maybe 80 since its neutral and ther for shuld be a bit weeker.

The ceaseless expanse is bad. until another card cheats it out. But on its own, its a timmy card that looks flashy and cool, but really even if both you and your opponent draws 2 cards per turn, then on turn 10 this card costs 60 mana still. its not a card that inherently is good and simply too slow for 95% of games, and in very late game control versus control, he probably will clear maybe one other thing off the board since both of those kinds of decks will routinely clear each other anyway so there wont be a lot, and then he will die to a single target removal. And that is in the rare cases of a control versus control, which is disneyland levels of makebelief. Most likely you will have this guy in your deck, and you will die to a combo deck on turn 8 or a aggro deck on turn 6. Neither case will enable you to play him, so he is a dead card that would be better used as most anything else. Until they print a card that will put him in play for the cost of farting real loud or punching your opponent in the throat. Some cost that can be paid on turn 9 or less. But that does not mean that this card is good, is just means the other card that cheats him out is good. Anyway card sucks but I will play him forever
