Hi, Rebecca. Re '-ed': it gets elided before consonants, doesn't it? As in, 'traveled there' would become travel(ed) there etc. Concur? Thanks for posting. You're awesome.

Hello! So glad you're loving the lessons:) Thank you for your kind words! No, the /d/ in "ed" is not deleted with consonants following it, however the sound is not fully released, but rather slides extremely quickly into the next sound. That's likely the confusion you're having as it's so difficult to hear. The tongue tip does touch for the /d/ placement. If you were to truly & fully delete that /d/, it would sound more like a grammatical error. Keep in mind there are 3 "ed" pronunciations to consider as well. I hope that was helpful!
