Last year was my first TOY. Didn’t pack anything on my main and I saved and spent a lot. On my RTG I packed Zola from an 83/10. Leaned my lesson and won’t be spending money again.

Same here, packed Ginola years ago and the green Cr7 from 24. Been playing since 2014 and never packed any Icon or toty. It should be illegal for somebody to play the game for over 10 years without packing those cards. Week one worked fine but I completed week 2 and nothing, it still says I’ve only done it once. Relying on AI movement from Half Winger to beat the press is probably not going to work against better players, they'll mark those runs manually. Tiki Taka base/+ on players is one way I noticed helped me break press easier. Honestly tho, press this year is not nearly as bad. I run 70 depth as my base in a 4411 and I find that those who are succumbing to that depth do it to themselves. Most common mistakes they make are taking heavy sprint touches, rushing the play and honestly just show signs they are getting frustrated and make mistakes. This happens more in champs than it does in Elite. In elite, running 70 depth is asking for trouble. I find myself having to switch to my 50 depth variation quite quickly in most matches because I get gutted by first time thru balls. Non manual press comes with a predictable auto offside trap- combine that with a 1st time thru ball and it makes Auto Press this year much worse than last year. Congestion in the box and auto defending in those areas are much worse than any press this year. Tackling from behind and spam tackling are much worse than auto press too. Sent you a few press break clips using Tiki Taka and agile front six (Barca Femeni + Cruyff) carving up presses on PSN awhile back, not sure those will be useful for you.

I can't open those season picks either. Thought it was just me. Another bug. Great! Posted up the other day saying that the whistle is fucked. I've found a solution. Delete the game an reinstall. Just like where the cards go missing and you get a black/white not found prompt. I did have to do it twice, mind. This game needs reinstalling once a week at the moment. What a shit show.

I'm very dissapointed with Evolutions this year. I've played a lot of games last year volving my fav. players. This year, even if you put aside how broken they are and how it takes them ages to fix specific issues, not releasing what may have been planned, etc. - even that aside, with all the restrictions it is pointless to evolve a player since for example - after evolving one, then you either cannot evolve him for a month or so OR you can evolve him/her BUT you only add +1 pace and everything else is +0 because of restrictions (you are essentially boosting only the overall rating, which restricts you on the next one and so on and so forth). So more and more i am not even touching evolutions.
