iOS 18 features which Android had for decade still makes me feel excited using on iPhone. Reason: Uff Animations, smoothness & fluidity on iOS have day & light difference compared to Android, that nobody talks about at all.

Step change for iOS. There was already deep integrated personalisation. This adds a whole load of usability improvements. Love it. Shifted from android to iOS as my main phone (though still keeping an android 14 phone as a secondary phone). Choice is good and the iPhone 16 pro is a stunning bit of hardware. Love the camera button.

I'm hesitant to update my iPhone 14 Pro to iOS 18 because of the green screen problem. I experienced this with my 13 Pro after an update, and it resulted in a green screen issue that rendered it unusable

After all these changes with iOS and Apple still hasn’t allowed split screen and landscape mode on the Home Screen. They also need to put a single “close all” selection on the closed apps page rather then sit there and swipe up to close all your apps that are still running in the background. It would also be nice if you could change the size and color of the clock on the home screen. Why does it always have to be a boring white?

That Hide App feature is redundant if there is a literal 'Hidden' folder on your iPhone lol! I think it's really important Apple implement a feature where messages sent via the 'Send Later' feature means the recipient is informed this was used, just to avoid confusion etc. if someone's phone is off or lost signal!

i hate that they still didn't add the settings app on the control center i still need to do it with shortcuts, looks like a sore thumb with the rest of the icons. also the wifi icon is not separate. also why did they prioritized the airdrop instead of the old and more useful cellular and bluetooth. still lots of missing options.

sending messages later only works if your sending to another iphone, but It also does not work and is not available if your are sending it to yourself, This would be nice as a way to setup a reminder or alarm , sending yourself a reminder at a scheduled time but I can't make it work

Songs skipping, restarting, songs ending prematurely on IOS 18.0 for HomePod. They had this issue before then with a few updates it got fixed. Now it's back again unfortunately.

Photos is such a downgrade! We used to have 'Years, Months, DAYS, All', but now the days view is gone! That was my favorite way to browse photos. 'Recent days' seems to have replaced it, but it’s not the same at all: 1) I want to access the days view starting from Year, then Month, down to a specific day - not starting from today. 2) The vertical scrolling in the Days view was perfect. In "Recent days", the vertical scrolling is limited to just that day. You have to scroll horizontally to move to the previous or next day. I hate it. 3) In the day view, we also had an indication of the location. This view was beautiful, and ideal for reliving past years, especially long trips. By the way, even the new "trips" view doesn't show these locations! 4) The new margin and gap between thumbnails make the content look much smaller even on my iPhone 15 Pro max. It really feels like a downgrade and simply makes me not want to use this app on my phone anymore.
