100 Obscure PC/MS-DOS Games of the 1990s (PART 4: 1993)

A look at 100 very obscure PC/MS-DOS games from the 90s; specifically, the games in this video were all released in 1993. If you played any of these, then hats off to you for being a PC superfan! Chunky VGA/EGA graphics, and Adlib sound OR PC speaker bloops and blips everywhere!
Note that many of these games weren't obscure on other platforms, like the Amiga/Atari ST or other home computer formats that were popular in Europe. However, if you were strictly an MS-DOS/PC user (and didn't live in Europe) - most of these titles would have remained pretty obscure! Some of these even made it over to the consoles - again, mostly popular in Europe. And again, mostly unnoticed on the PC.
Also, this video goes out of the way to include every possible licensed title. Most gamers tended to avoid licensed titles like the plague, and it's interesting now in retrospect to see what they were missing. Additionally, many of the licensed titles were different across formats - so if you did play one of these on the console (e.g. Jurassic Park), you may find a very different version on the PC...

I played "Inherit the Earth" / "Die Erben der Erde" (German Title) as a child on the Amiga 500 and that game always stuck with me ever since!

I haven't played most of these, interesting collection. I would also recommend "Pushover" which is a 2D puzzle platformer.

Oh my goodness. Rags to Riches was a game name I was looking for. I had the image of the game stuck in my head for the past 25 years at least :D I was between 6-9 when I tried playing this. Couple years later I remembered the game (the image) but I didn't know what the game was. All these years I thought this was some kind of life simulator as I remembered that you had to go to work (the office), sleep and I think I remember golf field scene maybe. I remember the clocks and different types of offices. Now I know it was a stock market simulator lol Thanks Gary you made my day :)

Some of these are obscure indeed! I'd only played 8, and just heard of another 5. I don't think a few are obscure though - anyone played shareware games in the 90s should know about Sky Roads and God of Thunder, probably Ken's Labyrinth too. Valhalla was named Ragnarok when I played it. I'm not sure, but think I may have also seen ads for Metal & Lace in CGW back in the 90s.

I just cant find a MS-DOS game in semi-pixelated 2D where you star as a woman in a red suit and uses a rifle as a weapon who fights demons and the beginning begins in a crypt/cemetery where some flying creatures come out of the tombs and you shoot them down with your weapon, as you advance you reach a cathedral/church where there is a gear full of blood because there is a person stuck and destroyed in it, and on the other side of a door there is a demon waiting. The game interface has a bar at the bottom of the screen with a red bottle representing health, as well as the face of our protagonist who, as she receives damage, changes her appearance where she is seen bleeding from her head and nose. the damage received. It was for Pc and u need a disc to play it, if u know something let me know, i´ll pay a reward.

It's interest that old game is profitable under NFT.... you can make still money if the game doesn't sell. you make money if artwork has value on it. it's not the game that's bad.
