To answer the question of: What happens when you get a pin for a brawler you don't have? Answer: The pin is just unlocked on the brawler. So When you eventually get that brawler you get the pin with it. So if you have all the pins for a brawler you don't have unlocked (for some reason IDK) then when you get them they will have all their pins along side the brawler
