I live in south Texas, right on the Mexican border and it averages about 40 Celsius now during summer. On Sunday I leave to go home to South Africa and it is -1 Celsius there today. I am going to freeze, I am no longer used to the cold.

WOW what a big jump in temp. Hope you packed warm clothes. I enjoy north as day time temps are high 20's in winter and High 40's in summer. hope you have a amazing time away.
